I like it even though I started watching it only a month ago and I'm on episode 340. It's definitely funnier than Naruto, no doubt. It's a little slow in my opinion in the beginning but once you get into it, you'll want to watch it all the way through.

I've never seen a dubbed episode. But I've heard people say that FUNimation and whatever the other company is ruined it for them. And they say they'll never watch One Piece again due to the bad dubs. Up to you I guess.

And then you will notice that its in a league of its own

But if you plan on watching the anime... there are a lot of episodes for you to watch around 548

I advise is that you be patient with it.

I call it a mountain walk.
The first 100 or so chapters are like walking on still ground. If you can't handle the simple walk, you won't be able to climb the mountain.
So take the walk slowly and you'll get used to it. Once you reach the mountain, remember that you can't make it to the summit by complaining on the ground. You have to keep moving. Step by step you get closer.

Another thing I might, do not spoil yourself.
Don't go looking on wiki, don't ask questions.
Just watch it 1 by 1. It'll be hard if you get annoyed, but try not to compare it to other series. Have an open mind.
One Piece is considered by modern analysts to be arguably the best Fiction ever created.

So here's Hypes advice:
1. Be Patient and don't miss anything or you'll be confused even more
2. Don't ask questions or spoil yourself.
3. Don't compare it to other Anime you've watched and finally...
4. ENJOY IT!

I have heard a lot of people say they didn't like it until Arlong, but I honestly loved it from the very first chapter. It's one of the few mangas that are better as an anime.
