So how many timeskips will Oda still do untill Luffy gets the One Piece?

I think it will be 1 or 2 more.4y TS and then 2y TS.
If just one TS then 4y?

Or do u think he will get it at the age of 19?

I think there will be one last TS after defeating all of the yonko(aside from BB)

Yeah, Luffy still has to get stronger. Especially since Kaido is after him now. They will get rekt at their current status.

I expect two more time-skips...
- One to prepare SH to be able to take on a Yonko...
- Other not exactly a time-skip, but the time till SH wander in the new world before reaching Raftel...

I like this idea !
Definitely the time skip before taking on a yonko is absolutely necessary !

I like to see SHs make some islands their territory after defeating Yonkos , then send some of themselves in a mission to save those islands from intruders . this can produce some nice Arcs.

My worry with the timeskip is that he doesnt pull and kishi and keeps luffy`s look like a kid`s.

But probably 1 more ts before the great war starts.

I don't think there will be another timeskip. The first timeskip was for training to get stronger for the new world. Having another timeskip for training would defeat the purpose of having the first timeskip and I don't see any other reason to have a timeskip.

I don't think Luffy is strong enough to take yonko...

Don't ever compare Oda to Kishi again

Luffy doesn't need a TS because I doubt we're going to get Kaido vs Luffy right away. He will go through a few islands and become stronger. We have yet to see what the other SH's are capable of as well, so having another TS would be annoying.

Once he learns his df awakening and masters it, also improves his haki to maintain gear 4 for much longer he should be ready. He can learn these things without a timeskip. Taking a 2y timeskip to prepare for the new world just to go back into another timeskip cause they're not ready, that wouldn't be good on the characters developments.

Oda won't do any time skip, he will make Him stronger eventually as he will going to destroy mariejoa and fishman island in his present form as it had been shown in sharley crystal ball

None.

The only time-skip that I see happening is all the way at the end when the story is already finished that he makes a time-skip to show what happened afterwards to most of the main characters, something that's often done in manga series.

Judging by the fact that they haven't been in the new world all that if they took time off before Kaido we should then just consider them tourist playing pirate getting out of the game coz its getting heated up isn't the way to get to PK, withstanding the heat and become stronger from it are the traits of a conquerer.

Luffy isn't jumping straight into Kaido take down remember Yonko have plenty subordinates and allies that will act as a gauntlet for Luffy and crew. Taking a line from Nanastu Tazai 'fighting only the fights u know u can win makes u a COWARD'(changed it up a bit there) and Luffy ain't no coward. Too many time skips are just signs of lacking on the writer's part coz that is the easiest development tool in the box but readers want to see growth not have it off panel all the time.

So u think he will find the One Piece at the age of 19? Isn't that kinda "unreal"? I mean ppl were there far longer than Luffy.Isn't it too soon just after 2 years getting the One Piece? In the other hand if he gets so strong I'd buy it.

Luffy crossed East Blue and the entire first halve of the Grand Line and along the way caused a ruckus at the three major institutions of the WG, something no one has ever done before and he did all of that at the age of 17, it didn't even take him a year.

It's unclear exactly when Blackbeard killed Teach and when exactly during the time skip he became a Yonkou, however his rise to power definitely took less than 3 years. In such a short period he went from a completely unknown pirate in Whitebeard's crew to the position of Yonkou.

The entire flow of the series has been going for a while now that it's the time now of the new generation and for pirates that generation is carried mainly by the 11 supernova's, most of which are around 20 years old. If age was in important factor here, the One Piece would have been found a long time ago, this factor has been rendered mute ever since a 17 year old boy with no experience and that can't swim decided to start his own pirate crew to become the Pirate King of the world.

Frankly saying that there is going to be another time skip is far more unrealistic than Luffy finding the OP at a young age as then you're screwing over his character development. Luffy and his crew trained for two years to be ready for the New World and anything in it. Rayleigh even left Luffy after 1.5 years because he couldn't teach him anything more. So they did everything they could as preparation for so far that was possible for something like the NW, everything else had to be done during their travels. For us the time skip happened like 3 years ago or something, but in the series barely a few weeks have passed. During that time Luffy took down one of the most powerful Shichibukai, provoked no less than 2 Yonkou almost personally and had a skirmish with a crew member of a third one. Luffy has been more successful in a timespan of around 2 weeks than all the other Supernova's (excluding BB here) in 2 years.

The rule of the New World is: you join the Yonkou or you fight them. None of the other Supernova's first prepared themselves for the NW. Result? X-Drake and Capone joined/forced to join Kaidou and Big Mum. On the other hand Kidd lost his arm and is severely scarred, Urogue was also in tatters and Bonney lost her entire crew. Kidd consequently had to go into an alliance with Apoo and Hawkins after 2 years to be able to try at taking down a Yonkou, this while neither of them see eye to eye with one another. The only other person who prepared himself somewhat, was Law and that worked quite well for him.

So what the hell would the point be of the 1st timeskip if the 2nd timeskip is because he would be too young to find the OP? Luffy gained an advantage by waiting for 2 years and then he's going to do it again while the rest just continue? This is the NW, this is not a place you leisurely decide to take a break. If Oda wanted Luffy to be older, he could have just made a 4 year time skip or something. It's possible he might skip a few days, weeks, maybe months, but I don't consider those time skips.
