Hisashiburi Dana!
It's been a while since I have posted on this site
wanted to share a few theories I had posted elsewhere and see your opinions and thoughts and share your own
This is a 3 Part Theory in which i will Discuss Kaido, and the near future of One Piece
(As in all my theories, Please remember that this a theory, I may provide facts to back up ideas but they remain theories nonetheless )
In one of my own personal favourite chapters of 2014 we received the revelation:
Trafalgar ‘I hate bread’ Law has become Trafalgar D Water-Law (Watel a mistranslation)
It is quite surprising to see Law is a D, not only because all hints previously hinted at Law maybe ‘knowing’ someone who carried the name and served as the reason why he puts ‘faith’ in Luffy, (not to mention saving him at Marineford). But rather because his personality goes against the grain of the other male D’s we have seen:
E.g:
Monkey D Luffy
Monkey D Garp
Jaguar D Saul
Gol D Roger
Marshall D Teach
Portgas D Ace
However his seriousness can be argued to reflect similarities in Monkey D Dragon, who until now was the anomaly in terms of his behaviour.
However what was more interesting to me was the other revealed name: ‘’WATER’’
As someone who grew up in London-England, I was excited when Law was initially introduced due to his first name: ‘Trafalgar’:
here is a specific square in London named: ‘’Trafalgar Square’’ which was named after the famous ‘’Battle of Trafalgar’’:
This was a Naval battle fought by the British Royal Navy against the combined fleets of the French and Spanish navies as part of the war against Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte of France:
Please remember the term ‘’EMPEROR’’ Napoleon.
Good old Oda always references great sea epics and mythologies in this story and this is no different.
Now please note that joining Napoleon, were the Spanish.
This is VERY interesting, why? Please note:
We have a Pirate named ‘Trafalgar’ named after the British fight against the French and Spanish fleets,
Who is going against Doflamingo, who was named after the famous Spanish novel: The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha
In fact Dressrosa itself is based on Spain, specifically Cataluña, let us just say Barcelona:
Even the dance performed by Viola is called the ‘Flamenco’ which stems from Spain:
Now, if we have Trafalgar going against the ‘Spanish’ who would be the French? This is where it gets interesting
The battle of Trafalgar as I have mentioned was the British succeeding against the combined forces of the French and Spanish.
This led into a future battle, a battle with the leader of the French fleets, Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte:
So if Dressrosa and the Heavenly Demon are Spanish, who do we know that has an ‘alliance’ with them or at least ‘agreement’? ……how about:
Yup one of the ‘EMPERORS’ or Yonko Kaidou ‘King of the Beasts’
So if Kaidou’s army are the French that would make Kaidou : Napoleon Bonaparte.
Yes, that is what I believe.
I believe Kaidou, has been built up to be a Behemoth of a man/beast with almost unmeasurable power, which he is, HOWEVER I believe that he, (just like Napoleon was), is a short man with a small stature.
I believe his power comes from the mastery over his own Devil Fruit, (which will probably be a mythical Zoan).
Please remember rumours can go a long way for someone’s appearance, I remind you of the rumours of Luffy being 10 feet tall and breathing fire.
To add to the theory of Kaidou being based on Napoleon, is Law’s name itself:
‘Water-Law’ or ‘Waterloo’
Another area in London is called ‘’Waterloo’’, (I actually work here! lol) :
This was named after another famous battle, ‘’The Battle of Waterloo’’.
In this Battle Napoleon tasted defeat which lead to his fall as Emperor, (foreshadow for Kaidou?)
That’s the first part of the theory
