"Hmmmm? What is that stance?" Don Krieg said to himself as he was ready to jump down from his pirate ship, "Is he trying to make fun of me?"
The pirate crew quickly ran towards their one and only enemy with the intent to kill, and expected an easy victory without any kind of effort. Every kind of weapon, from swords to pistols, was waving in the air as they were ready for a battle.

Loki: Pistols too? This situation is getting worse, I better act quickly
*as he thinks this he throws a smoke bomb from his pocket at the ground just before the pirates attack, he is no longer in view, much to the anger of Don Kreig, as the smoke clears, Loki is seen holding one of the subordinates in a headlock*
Loki: I guess I have no choice but to fight

"What's with this guy!?" one of the pirates said as they backed away, "Is he... is he actually really strong?" As this was said, murmuring and whispering could be heard from the whole crew as they looked at the man in front of them.
"What are you guys doing!?" their captain, Don Krieg, yelled as he jumped down from the pirate ship, "He is only one man, kill him now! Die for me, you idiots!"

*Loki begins to back away with the hostage slowly*
*he thinks* 'Maybe I can bluff my way out'
Loki: I don't want to fight you Don Kreig, leave this place now and this will be the end of it!
*whilst he speaks, he reviews the situation, analysing every possibility he might have of escape*

"D-Do as he says, guys!" the hostage yells to his fellows as he is grabbed around the neck. Some of the pirates look at Don Krieg as they all nod to each other, knowing that hostages won't work on them.
"Don't listen to that bounty hunter, take him down now!" Krieg yells once again as they run towards him while swinging their swords. One of them reaches him quickly and tries to attack Loki with a knife.

*he shouts as they come in closer for their attack, he pushes the hostage out towards them and goes back into his strange stance*
Loki: Primitive art...
*he whispers as the knife edges closer to his chest, he leans back in an awkward way such that the distance from the knife to his chest is extended, he steps back to regain his balance and in a quick movement of feet he is in a counter position, the pirate loses his footing as he dives towards Loki who hits him with a strong precise kick to the temple that knocks him unconscious*
Loki: I guess its too late for apologies now...

Every pirate in the area witnessed what happened, even Don Krieg, but that didn't stop them from charging at the man with the weird fighting style. Several of them tries to swing their swords at the man they're fighting, hoping their very first day in South Blue will go smoothly.
