Is it better to start reading the manga and then start watching episodes when it gets interesting or should I watch all episodes ?

Btw does OP has many fillers ?

No OP doesn't have many fillers. I would suggest watching to catch up but some like reading manga more.

I recommend you start with the anime. Then when you are caught up, then start the manga. After the manga, watch the onepiece movies & special episodes

3 ep = 1 hour
24 x 3 =72
72x 3 =...
seems impossible

takes atleast a month if u want to see everything and still sleep , eat ,pauses etc

The anime is really sh*t after the TS but before then it's good. You're going to miss out on the amazing OST's/Voice-acting/fights. I guess just read the manga but watch the Enies Lobby arc, Sabaody Arc & Marineford Arc.

My advice, catch up with the manga then the start the anime from where it is currently.
And yes, it has quite a few fillers, nowhere near as many as Naruto though.

Skip the anime fillers and you should be fine
