Im currently watching episode 114 the alabasta arch and things are getting pretty boring, ive enjoyed everything up until now but i feel like things go so slow

Do things pick up in later arcs or are all of them pretty much like this one

They do pick up.... you might find the skypiea arc (the arc after alabasta) boring.... I personally did....but just hold on....Water 7 - Enies lobby arc (the arcs after skypiea) will blow you away.

They pick up big time. Also if you are having problems with Albasta's pace then I'm not sure what you'd think of Skypiea lol. Anyways Albasta ends at 130 and you have a few surprises coming your way so sit tight and enjoy..!! Though since you've come this long I know you won't quit but if you feel like quitting at Skypiea.... Don't even think about it.... The entire manga's main plot is revealed at Ennies Lobby Arc and before it is Water 7 Arc.... While the manga is amazing from the start (well it was for me), it gets mind blowing from Water 7 Arc.

The Sequence is this if you don't know -

Albasta Arc -> Jaya Arc (Really small one) -> Skypiea Arc -> Long Ring Long Land (Really Small again) -> Water 7 and then it gets getting Epic with every Arc.

More then likely you are watching/watched the fillers. It dragged out the Alabasta Arc.


Edit: Nevermind. This is when things pick back up. It is the main fights of the crew with the Agents.

People do argue that Alabasta gets boring because it becomes longer than its needed to be.
Just stick with it bro Things do get better towards the end.

Haha but it seems you enjoy the kung fu dugong though Don't worry they make an appearance in the current anime.

OT: Yeah they eventually pick up. It's an adventure bro, what do you expect for them to happen... show up to an island and immediately find their villian for the arc and kick his ass? No, Oda takes his time to build up characters and create a diverse OP world/universe.

well what can I say , the Alabasta arc is one of my fav top 3 arcs
and for goodness sake , don't take the advice of skipping arcs, that's just... ugh

just bear with it , the whole picture will eventually be very satisfying
