One piece question

I have never read or watched one piece should I get into it? I don't know what to do because some of my friends say that it's good and others say that it is terrible and I'm not sure If I should get into it or not..

What do you think of it?

What's good about it? The story,the action,character development, what?

I highly recommend ignoring this. Don't watch the series for the sake of catching up. That's dumb. Watch it for the sake of being entertained. Do it as it was intended: To your pace for enjoyment.

ok, for me one piece is way better than any comedy,adventure awesome anme's that ive ever seen.. even naruto dont have a chance to beat OP.. just dont miss the arcs. so go to first episode first until you make to alabasta were he met his brother then, after the alabasta arc every episode would be great. *_* btw im not saying that the first to alabasta episode are not great, theyre fun and you would be like "i wanna be a pirate" -.-

i say read it as one piece is great there is plenty of character development each character gets as much attention as the next its long as you may already know but its worth it and it is hilarious as well as emotional at times also the art is great

one piece is my favorite anime, it has the best plot out of any manga imo, but like rikerslade said it does start out slow, but around alabasta it picks up and never loses pace, it's just a great manga

Story line and character developement probably far outshines other manga....

Honestly One Piece is amazing! Though the first 50 episodes or so deals more with finding crew mates so it takes a little while until the first big arc which is Alabasta!

Basically pirates and adventure ^.^! Also, One Piece manages to keep both extreme humor as well as deep emotional moments in the same arc...its fantastic!

If you make it to Water 7/Ennis Lobby you will see the epicness of One Piece

I think the Arlong arc still was a high peak before it slowed down again.

I highly recommend one piece but if you want to catch up fast then you should read the manga instead of the anime because you could probably read 10 chapters in the time it takes to watch just one episode

OP's character development if far greater than any of the "Trinity". Also, it's plot/storyline is the most diverse out of all manga/anime to date. Lastly, it's simply the best!
