One piece - movie 10 strong world - thought5

I thought this movie was simply awesome, i loved it!

The islands were awesome and looked 10 times better then skypiea!
Luffy and everyone gets separated, the villian being none other then golden lion Shiki!
The man fought against the roger pirates before and he cut off his legs to escape impel down so he stood up on swords instead.
Everyone looked awesome and i loved their outfits both the ones in the beginning and their more trendy clothes later on... i loved how robin had a pony-tail and wore glasses btw, it really fit her character somehow


Zoro and Sanji were badasses all the way especially sanji in his fight later on.
The movie quality and graphic really bloomed throughout this but it would be better to let normal steam come out of luffys gear second instead of going all digital with it and make it look like some strange excuse of kaoken.:shrug:

One more thing, what´s up with Nami´s message? I was getting all curious only for it to be some corny shit like "definitely save me" that didn´t sound like Nami at all and i thought it would be something better then simply that.

Overall, i give this movie 9/10, it was very good but they could´ve changed somethings like having more action and spotlight for the others + Robin had to be rescued? What´s up with that? What´s with this movie about the girls getting kidnapped? I can´t say however that i didn´t like what happened with sanji and brook so it´s all good.xd

Ironically, this is the first One piece movie that i watched to the fullest, the only other i´ve watched was the Mugiwara chase in 3D which i didn´t even bother watching cuz of it being 3D and everything so this was my very first movie and the latest.

Now that i´ve watched this one, the others aren´t worth watching are they? Do you guys have a recommendation for a good one piece movie that would challenge or even surpass this one in terms of action,excitment and story or is this the best so far?
If you have then tell me! If you don´t then that´s that.U_U

No One Piece Movie is better than Strong World. The other are, though, very enjoyable. I really like the Mecha one and the Race to the Treasure one.

Really? It makes sense for it to have been so good, before it began it said that it was presented by Echiro Oda but i thought the mangaka´s didn´t have much infuence in movies, that´s why some naruto movies suck.

The problem with Naruto movies is, they're all the same. They follow the same pattern: go on a mission, meet some person who's the target (snow princess/lonely child/girl who used to be a boy/some other guys I can't remember) this person feels identified with Naruto and has a change of heart, Naruto beats the crap out of the bad guy with a rasengan and everyone is happy again. The end. Except for movie 6, the one with Kakashi going all hypnotized and stuff. That one was actually enjoyable. Mainly because the focus was off Naruto, Sasuke wasn't shown, and other characters like Gaara or Shikamaru were given more relevance. That's why I preferred OP movies or even Bleach movies (although I only saw movie 2 and 3).

Switching subjects back to topic, I love Strong World. Loved how it fit in the canon together with that pre-Strong World ova. Sanji screaming "Nami-swaaaan Robin-chwaaan" at the top of his lungs and Usopp telling him to shut up while bugs chased them was funny as hell. I love that cook. And his VA. He made a terrific job.

This was, naturally, my favorite movie of the ten of them (eleven if you count the 3D Mugiwara Chase), impossible to hate it, it's so perfect... the other ones are not crap in my opinion (partly because they all have a little ZxN moment at some point). I found the sixth movie particularly interesting, partly due to the special animation style, partly due to the great focus it has on the seven nakamas (set before W7). They make a perfectly in character job. Crew interaction is awesome.
