"One Piece Mugiwara Store" (One Piece Straw Hat Store), the first permanent official shop dedicated to Eiichiro Oda's One Piece pirate manga and anime, is opening on Friday at Tokyo's Shibuya Parco Part 1 shopping complex. The store will carry over 10,000 items, including "Mugiwara Store" exclusives and limited grand-opening items:

Postcard sets of the manga volume covers (1,200 yen US$15 for 11 or 6,000 yen or US$77 for 66 plus box)
Grand opening commemorative pin set (525 yen or US$6.75)
Portrait of Pirates (P.O.P) Chopperman figure (2,000 yen or US$26)
Grand opening commemorative hand towel (630 yen or US$8)
Set of 2 stick jellies featuring Thousand Sunny and pirate mark (368 yen or US$4.75)
Set of 15 character candies (473 yen or US$6)
Chopper straps (525 yen or US$6.75 each)
One Piece Mugs (three kinds at 840 yen or US$11 each)
"Boxer" pants (2,940 yen or US$38)
Necktie T-shirts (two kinds at 3,990 yen or US$51 each)
Pirate Mark T-shirts (two kinds at 3,990 yen or US$51 each)
One Piece A4-size clear files (four kinds at 368 yen or US$4.75 each)
The store features a life-size figure of the main lead Luffy and a retail area designed to resemble the Thousand Sunny ship's hold. Other exhibits include a Mini Merry II boat replica and a gateway decorated with the whale Laboon painted with the Straw Hat pirate mark.

While there have been earlier One Piece shops such as one that used to be in Tokyo's Sunshine City plaza, the new store is billed as the largest and the first permanent one. The Comic Natalie website posted more photographs of the store before its grand opening. The store will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

because one piece is based out of japan and that is where it is most popular so obviously it would have it first store opened there.....thats why

oh and incase you didnt know.....its not good buisness to open 10 stores world wide b4 at least having a test run hopefully this info will help you in the future

That would be awesome if it was in the states... I can dream. In the meantime, I gotta visit Japan sometime.
