I like anime cause of Luffy...
Gatling gun epicness,screaming Atariiiiii Maedaaaaa giving me Goosebumps.
I would never experience OP greatness if Anime didn't exist...
Also sometimes it can be bad at somepoint ofc nothing is perfect...

Manga because the anime's pacing is garbage. One Pace is far better than the anime. If you were to look at the anime by itself without comparing the manga, it's meh due to the pacing. The anime would be amazing if they just fixed the pacing issue which isn't even hard at all.

Toei can easily adapt the cover stories that are considered to be canon and once they're done with that, just make filler out of the "cooler" one. Like the recent filler cover story that was a fan request of ASL brothers playing baseball.

Anime has the music and animation but such a shitty pace and that´s what usually turns people off, which is a shame.

Manga has everything but most of all, it has that boner inducing art, so manga it is.

Onepiece manga.

When you have drawn characters like Shanks, Mihawk, Crocodile, Kuma, Zoro, Luffy, Law, Kidd, Aokiji, Kizaru, Dragon, Garp, and Jinbei. It's gonna be a well developed manga.

Anime is one chapter per episode, which can make it very slowly paced. Manga is better, no doubt about it.

What's overall better and why

well both are very good at there perspective.Manga give you the situation in which you can imagine "may be thats how it happens".But anime give give you the true scenario of the that situation with hype,sounds and background.

I like reading the manga and so on.. But as far as entertainment goes.. Anime takes the cake baby.


The marineford war was so much better to watch than read. that epic music and etc.

Manga by far, One Piece anime is one of the worst anime adaptions ever made
