There's no way Kinemon dies. Even though he's probably the weakest, Kinemon is like the Luffy of the Scabbards. I bet it's going to be the cat or dog that dies if anyone. Then one of them will rule both days or maybe Carrot will take up the dead cat/dog's role.

Japanese acts are known to end with a tragedy at the end of act 3.Someone's death is coming, as also foreboded by Hawkins and the grand "Chapter 1000". The death has to be significant enough for the readers to care. Kinemon has been with us since Punk Hazard, therefore his death has some weight on the story. It may even be that most of the Scabbards end up dying, they did say "let us die after we take your head" which may be another one of Oda's foreshadowing.
