I said I think Shanks is more likely the guy bowing on page 14 rather than Im based on how Im has been portrayed to which Caliburn went nah bro so I replied with that.....why Shanks can't be Im COMMA based on how he/she has been portrayed followed by a Caliburn quote...

I'm new here, but I been reading and watching the One Piece series since 2013. I believe that Jewlery Bonney was not in disguise when she appear as an old lady because the guards clearly recognize who she was in that form. When she got away from them, due to the distraction provided by Saint Charloss and his father, she turn back into her young form without removing anything that might suggest she was wearing a disguise. I think Kuma is her son or grandson because Bonney was call the Queen Mother. A name I think is given after a previous ruler steps down while her children takes the throne.


Since Kuma was refer as a former King of Solbay, the most logical conclusion on how he became a human weapon was because the World Government found out that King Kuma had allied himself to the Revolutionary Army. They must have blackmailed him into surrendering to them to become a soulless human weapon on the condition that if he did not surrender, they would have destroy his entire Kingdom and everyone living in his country most likely through a Buster Call. I can't think of anymore reason for Kuma to submit to the WG if that is the case because in Ch 907, we saw once more how significant the Celestial Dragons are through a noble perceptive. The worse a pirate would get is a Admiral. If a noble hits a Dragon, they automatically doom their entire country to be destroy by the Government because a noble is a leader of his country and his action can easily be seen as the entire Kingdom vs the World Government.

Interesting because the Queen she was posing as was of the same kingdom that Kuma used to rule and she showed pain at Kuma being captured, maybe she's connected to him in some way, wife, daughter, sister...mother? What does Bonney have to do with Kuma?

I believe he helped her when she escaped as a slave from the Celestial Dragons. Later on, joined the revs undercover as a pirate.

Yes you can interpret that in different ways, but it can't be denied it's quite contrasting with the Gorosei in this chapter bowing down to Ym, refer to him as -sama and acknowledge he has the absolute power to control the flow of the world.

As I said the only way, at least I can think of, to explain this, is if Shanks has a schizophrenic tendency that's even worse than that of Bruce Banner where you have one one side the infamous easygoing Yonkou and on the other side the divine being that rules the world.

No, simply because we saw him being pierced by two swords in front of everyone and blood pouring out onto the floor. This was done publicly. If he were alive the Marines would've had to apply medical attention immediately to save him which i don't think is the case as the execution was made public and rushing Roger away after stabbing him would be so suss.
