11 out of 10 chapter, I had a hunch conqueror's haki will come into play soon. Luffy finally maxed out his observation haki & Katakuri is beyond awesome! His character now has all what he has to have to befriend Luffy after this fight.
Momonosuke can hear the voice of all things. Should it be expected that he's gonna inherent CoC? Cause this is unclear and confusing. That's not the point at all.
Besides that fact that the majority of people in the world are just civilians and aren't top tier fighters among pirates or marines. You already lose like 95% of all people with CoC who have a dormant ability but work as a shopkeeper or whatever.
Another thing is that 1 in a million is just a figure of speech of how rare it is. But at this point in the story it doesn't seem rare at all.
The original point is, if everyone has it, there is no point in having it in the first place because it levels the playing field. Why can't Luffy have an edge on enemies with this thing ? Probably every foe he will face from now on will have it. I can't imagine a yonkou or an admiral without it. Apparently a yonkou first mate also has it. So Oda has been handing it out like freebies.
Why the shock at marineford that he used CoC, there were probably 10 people there with that ability in hindsight. Did it really make Luffy that much dangerous ?
What did it add to the story that Dogtooth showed CoC today ? Would it be too much if Luffy on his own knocked out Flambe and her goons ? That would also give him an slight extra advantage over the already impressive Dogtooth. But by giving him the same Luffy also needs to overcome that again.
I'm not sure about the voice of all things yet. It could be related to haki it also could be something different entirely. Maybe it is something like the force in Star Wars where the universe is pushing people in certain directions. Like the Pirate Kings might not be as random as we think. I just don't understand how Momo fits in that picture.Momonosuke can hear the voice of all things. Should it be expected that he's gonna inherent CoC? Cause this is unclear and confusing.
I see. What about the one in million? Donโt you think that Oda literally meant it this way after having over one CoC user?I'm not sure about the voice of all things yet. There were over 10,000 marines on Enies Lobby alone and millions of pirates on the seas. The majority of the world being civilians doesn't matter when there's more than enough people to fit the bill who are active. There's also zero chance that there are common civilians running around with the capacity for Conqueror's, as people who have that capacity are drawn towards doing exceptional things and being exceptional people. That's not the point at all.

Hundreds of OP characters and only ten of them are Haoshoku users so far. It's not this dramatic.Another thing is that 1 in a million is just a figure of speech of how rare it is. But at this point in the story it doesn't seem rare at all.
Because in the New World, simply possessing Haoshoku isn't enough to have the edge, you have to actually have stronger Haoshoku over others for it to be an edge. We simply haven't gotten to that point yet.The original point is, if everyone has it, there is no point in having it in the first place because it levels the playing field. Why can't Luffy have an edge on enemies with this thing ?
Have you even been paying attention? For a rookie like Luffy to display Haoshokue, that tells the world he is a serious contender, something not many expected from him. That doesn't mean he's a top dog, that means he has that undeniable potential, and that is why they gave him that attention. There will be endless foes in Luffy's way in the New World who have it, but the actual top dogs will be the ones with exceptional Haoshoku. Why the shock at marineford that he used CoC, there were probably 10 people there with that ability in hindsight. Yep, L's have been given. lol :lolRemember how almost everyone including myself wanted Katakuri to beat Luffy and we were all saying that it will be an asspull if Katakuri looses...
And now we're all rooting for Luffy and we want him to win this fight! How times have changed!
Lol millions of pirates ? Get real. There were over 10,000 marines on Enies Lobby alone and millions of pirates on the seas. If Luffy had an inherent advantage over most top tiers thanks to Conq. then wouldn't it be a bit like a deus ex situation where we know despite the trouble he's in he can use conq. on them to get the edge to win? Also Luffy's pretty much only fighting top tier people about now so more of his opponents getting top tier skills isn't that off.Lol millions of pirates ? Get real.
I didn't say common civilians have conqueror's I said they have the dormant ability without ever awakening it.
It's not about the 10 so far it is about the many more in the story yet to come. It is about the power creep, it is about the super Saiyan conundrum.
The problem with 'endless foes with CoC' is that everybody unlocks the potential to become a super saiyan, making it in fact useless to be a super saiyan and have to trump that and become super saiyan 2.
Oda is evaluating CoC, explain to me why it was needed for Dogtooth to have CoC in this chapter ? Why couldn't Luffy knock down Flambe on his own. As long as you don't have a good answer for that you've proven my exact point.
It doesnโt further the story. Boa needed it as an introduction to it and she is a queen, Rayleigh needed it as his teacher, shanks as a yonko. Doffyโs was also justified, but here it was unnecessary. Like u said luffy could have used it and this would make kata respect him even more.Lol millions of pirates ? Get real.

He respects luffy as a worthy opponent. One thing that bothered me is that Katakuri had no problem slaughtering a bunch of people unfairly in an assassination, now he stabs himself for a fair fight?
I wonder. Could the Mirror World works to transfer someone from island to island? Like looking for a mirror that would take someone to Water 7 or even to Whisky Peak.
I know what you said, and I'm telling you they don't. People with any capacity for Haoshoku are naturally drawn towards being exception and doing exceptional things. There are zero people who are cookie cutter civilians who have any capacity for it.I didn't say common civilians have conqueror's I said they have the dormant ability without ever awakening it.
This is nothing like the Super Saiyan problem because we were told from the jump that countless people possess this ability and we've had that repeated and demonstrated to us more than once. It's not about the 10 so far it is about the many more in the story yet to come. It is about the power creep, it is about the super Saiyan conundrum.
Why couldn't Katakuri have Haoshoku? There is nothing that was removed from the story by having Katakuri have Haoshoku Haki as well. YOU have no good reason why he shouldn't have it. You keep implying that Haoshoku loses its luster if every main foe has it when that's not the case.Oda is evaluating CoC, explain to me why it was needed for Dogtooth to have CoC in this chapter ? I would think so but Idk if it's been said one way or the other.I wonder. Could the Mirror World works to transfer someone from island to island? Like looking for a mirror that would take someone to Water 7 or even to Whisky Peak.
To be fair though we did have that with SS too, it was a rumored borderline mythical form of Saiyans that appeared in one of XXX number of people. Now almost any Saiyan mentioned has it, I think Raditz might be one of the only ones who didn't get it lol. I agree with you though about the ones who do have it being in the NW so seeing an increase in those with it here isn't that odd. This is nothing like the Super Saiyan problem because we were told from the jump that countless people possess this ability and we've had that repeated and demonstrated to us more than once.

I think so, they were able to enter the Sunny, unless it has something to do with the zone where BM's island is. I don't see any reason for it to be impossible.
If it's only possible, it would be an insane ability. One can go to any island end to end on Grand Line in seconds.I would think so but Idk if it's been said one way or the other.
