Ahh man such a good chapter!!

The last few pages of Luffy and Katakuri were lit af!! Can't wait to see how this fight plays out.. Katakuri using a bigger "Elephant Gun" was so epic... but does he have anything to replicate Gear 4th?!? I think not.. but we shall see.

Katakuri saving this arc one chapter at a time. All the garbage Sanji and Big Mom have given us throughout the year, and this guy single handidly putting this arc on his back.

The main enemy for this arc while Big Mom plays the role of buster call and birdcage.

Also glad Oda could still draw fights on this level, the choreography was a thing of beauty. Observation haki is actually playing a major role for once in this manga as well, Katakuri is literally just waiting for Luffy to use an attack so he can mimic it and crush it, what a beast.

Also does anyone else notice how, they are fighting in the mirror world and Katakuri is mirroring Luffy with his DF? Can't be a coincidence can it?

Even in his standard mode, he grows multiple fists and is more effective than Jet Gatling. If only Luffy managed something like this somehow. To have more arms.

It's kind f redundant to let us know each fight how g2/3 is inferior to the top tier opponents right now.

Honestly, does anybody even still care about Big Mom at this point? I feel like Katakuri is the main one getting attention from the fandom lately, not to mention Big Mom's crazed personality is kinda underwhelming.

But this chapter was lit just from the last few pages. I wonder if Luffy is just "testing" the waters and seeing what he can do against Katakuri, but I knew he would be dominating. Luffy had no chance unless he pops out the g4 or something.

Wow wow wow, what a chapter.

Jimbei's words were the best part of the chapter. Brook and Chopper were still ****ing around like they were in Paradise. Jimbei reminding them that it is kill or to be killed from this point in is pretty chilling. It also sounds like Oda will be more comfortable with killing off characters from now on since we're also getting closer to the end.

Also like how Jimbei flipped the perspective of how many casualties Luffy and co made by trashing the island. Shows the flip side of hte Strawhat actions that often not get explored. Perospero's arm is another example of that. It gives more meat to the story of the BM Family vs the Strawhats.

Sanji and Lola catching up was nice, also the Pudding interaction is amazing. I'm loving that Sanji still is on a solo mission, like he was for almost the entirety of the arc. He is on his best when he can be in his saboteur role.

Luffy vs Dogtooth this chapter was like a sped up version of the first few chapters against Doflamingo. He answers all the attacks in G2 and G3 and showing Luffy he is out of his depth.

I hope Oda is going to do something with G2 and G3, Because I don't want to see it turn into to Super Saiyan struggle where we need to go to the motions of every form every fight until he hit the most recent one.

I much rather see a G2 and G3 revamp than a G5 I would absolutely hate a Gear fifth unless it is waaay later in the story.

He has something luffy doesn't have. Control. Lucky has just been flinging his limbs around en mass and filling up his body with different pressures to do different things. Katakuri is so skilled with his body that it's like he is a logia. Other than the trait of being sticky Vs stretchy they have the same fruit Katakuri is just better with it.

That's not correct. Luffy is skillful with his DF. It's not control he lacks. Technique that boosts up his power one more or other mode of G4 or use all GEARs. The possibilities vary. Sure Katakuri's body can stretch, but I doubt his body could handle inner pressure if copied Luffy's GEARs techniques.

Happen to remember the chapter I remember him punching her hand but I don't remember his body being in G4 when he did I seem to remember it being a G3 punch but we may be thinking of different moments.
