OT: Good chapter, but I wanted to see more of Luffy vs Katakuri, and I don't think that Perospero is dead..
I just hope that Pedro die, we need some drama in this arc.

Well Pedro's suicide attempt isn't that unexpected. He did something similar before with Baron Tamago and BM had already shaved most of his life force away several years ago. It's nothing new either that Pedro didn't expect to return back to Zou.

It's just that due to all the breaks of both the series and the magazine that the momentum is kinda lost.

I agree with this. I remember when Pedro's story with Tamago was revealed, I felt compelled. But by the time we get to this, I didn't feel that same investment, so this moment that should have been emotional wasn't so much so for me. This arc feels like an arc that should be read volume to volume, like a novel; all at once rather than with this much time between each chapter.

Hope this chapter also puts the people to rest who keep saying that the family isn't doing anything. Because it shows that as soon as they set things in gear that they're completely out of their depth.

But then why did he explode on contact though? Shouldn't he have been hit by those punches instead of turning into his element?

Huh I wonder if this "special Paramecia" thing will extend to Luffy since their powers are a bit similar as mentioned this chapter I awlays thought it was weird he was considered a paramecia even though his body doesn't produce rubber like Doffy produces strings but is made of rubber(organs and all) like Ace was made of fire. I didn't remember it being labeled that I thought Jinbei said it was a logia.

He's a Paramecia and not a Logia because Logia can both create something and become something. A Paramecia gets one or the other. Baby 5 could shoot some of her weapons but I see what you're getting at. I had always looked at them still as producing the element even if relegated to the body but Luffy's rubber is constant. Jozu isn't always diamond he has to produce that over specific parts of himself but Luffy doesn't make any part of his body rubber it just always is. That's the key difference I've been hung up on. The others all actively produce said trait but not Luffy.

Can you justify why Perospero deserves such a bounty? Katakuri's bounty for example is justified. What has Pero done exactly that is worthy of such a huge bounty lol

There are some people who have high bounties not for their power level but for being a threat to the government like Robin or for being a threat to the civilians like Jack or Kidd.

What has Pero done? He's not powerful or smart enough to be a threat to government itself so why does he have such a huge bounty?
