Once the shackles are down, I am Lord Sanji against the World... and I cannot wait.

On a side note, do you think there will be something similar for other Strawhats? I cannot imagine the same depth with Zoro, for example, who rather hunts for power, but man, Oda can always surprise me. Damn, I love One Piece.

Nice chap. I was only annoyed by one thing though

Nami says "Let's leave, I don't care what his reasons are, he went too far" while knowing from pekmos that Sanji does this for the sake of not only them, but also baratie and his other connection. But then when usopp purposely opposed luffy and went just as far as Sanji did with hitting him, she was fine with having him back?........yeah I'll wait for the next chapter to see how she explains that ignorance


The bond between Luffy and Sanji is manly asf, I must say.

One of the reason why Luffy didn't strike back is probs 'couse he was exhausted from Cracker fight and there were other Vinsmokes there.Usopp challenged Luffy for something,Sanji never challenged Luffy about anything what Luffy is doing now is similar to what Naruto was doing with Sasuke.Also Nami is right Sanji did go too far since if I remember correctly when Robin was in similar situation Robin never said something so shit to Luffy.

One of the reason why Luffy didn't strike back is probs 'couse he was exhausted from Cracker fight and there were other Vinsmokes there.Usopp challenged Luffy for something,Sanji never challenged Luffy about anything what Luffy is doing now is similar to what Naruto was doing with Sasuke.Also Nami is right Sanji did go too far since if I remember correctly when Robin was in similar situation Robin never said something so shit to Luffy.

The other difference is that Luffy unlike Nami actually can see right through Sanji's BS he didn't fall for it while Usopp to some extent did mean what he said

Great chapter 5/5 Oda definately knows how to make a reader get them feels. Got me hyped for what's coming next!

The bracelets are a smaller part of Sanjis reason for not coming back, the threat is the primary reason and the very cause of his involvement with BM and the Vinsmokes to begin with. Nami and Luffy already know that and should thus plan things out instead of "oh we and your resturant will die, but hey let's go back fam"

Still though it's kinda ****ed how she told luffy to bring him back and apologize shortly but then when Sanji is surrounded by walls she is quick to tell luffy to give up on him. Would you say it's fair to give up on someone who was willing to die for you just because of some physical abuse taking one piece themes into consideration?


Maybe she relates more to usopps thinking, but yeah it's just a minor bug I had while reading ths

How did he not go too far though? He's beating the shit out of his defenseless Captain with Diable Jambe. Nami wasn't really buying what Sanji was saying either but she's not gonna sit there and watch Luffy get slaughtered like that.

Though it looked like she might have givin up too easy on Sanji, but she was simply overcome with the shock of the moment.
