OT: I think G4 should be able to do the job, a couple of KG spams and then a KKG finish, but Luffy seriously underestimated a Yonko. Now we know where Uroge got his injuries, though how'd he get to sky island in his weakened form remains a mystery.
I'm guessing Luffy will get a CoA haki boost, as it seems to be the only thing that determines strength these days.

No one actually thinks that Cracker lost. However, the fact that he got hit with Kong Gun, and it's left him slumped on the ground momentarily shows that he and Doflamingo are much closer than most people are giving credit for. Just like last week, this chapter gives no definite indication of how they compare. There are a lot of similarities between the two fights:

Cracker effortlessly blocks Gear Third, Doflamingo effortlessly blocks Gear Third.

Luffy attempts to block an attack with his arm while its infused with Buso, and his guard is broken through, causing him to be sent flying. This happens in both his fights with Cracker and Doflamingo

Luffy sloppily dodges Cracker's sword strikes, just like how he sloppily dodged(and subsequently got hit by) Doflamingo's Overheat.

The Haki statement is also so-so. It's an obvious exaggeration, but if we took it at face value, then that means Cracker's Buso is harder than Mihawk's, his sword's, Seastone(which is as hard as diamond and said that no one can break it), and Fujitora's Haki as well. Are you going to start vouching that Cracker's Haki is superior to all of these things as well?

Also, do you guys really think we're about to see Cracker bust out 1000 arms? Like, you really think that isn't just a nickname to reference the fact that he has a lot of arms?

Healthy never touched cracker is being compared with Radio knifed Mingo who had internal raptures and got Gum red hawked point blank with no defences

Technically it only happened because Zoro isn't there though. It's as if Oda jumped on that opportunity

Lmao at the Cracker downplay. He just got caught off-guard by the sudden boost of power from someone he was casually dominate seconds before. It's not so different than the Magellan instance in Impel Down when he was dominating Luffy until he got caught off-guard by jet bazooka's power

Mfw this is exactly what happened with Doflamingo and the Kong Gun, but you'll use it anyways.

If anything, this just supports what I said in the other thread. There's risk that comes with a fighting style where you try to block everything and rely on nothing but physical strength. You get moments where you don't expect a power increase and get overwhelmed, just like this. This is where one can argue that Doflamingo's speed-based style of evading attacks, even when he can physically block it, can be superior. Goes both ways.

From the feats he displayed he casually no-low diffed g2/3 Luffy

Doflamingo did the same thing. Both Cracker and Dofy casually blocked Gear Third. Both Doflamingo and Cracker casually made Gear 2 ineffective. Both Dofy and Cracker hit Luffy with an attack that he looked like a fool trying to dodge. And both of them were left slumped on the ground after getting hit with Kong Gun.

who was a mid-high diff fight for Doflamingo. Kong Gun sent Doflamingo flying kilometers away when Cracker wasn't even pushed back meters away

Like I said in the other thread, this does imply that Cracker has superior physical strength to Doflamingo, but that's not all it takes to make a fight. Cracker remained stationary while blocking an Elephant Gun. Fujitora was sent flying into a rock formation by Elephant Gun. Will you now argue that Cracker is superior to Fujitora if they fought?

You need a bit more of skills to show Doffy>Cracker or Cracker>Doffy since Doffy vs Luffy lasted for few chapters...Luffy vs Cracker is barely a chapter as of now...

Both Cracker and Doffy blocked Luffy's G2 and G3 attacks.Where I think G4 caught Cracker off-guard.Anyways as of haki statement Cracker has stronger haki than Doffy? I guess that could be right.

Of course it's not the end of cracker. You might even say that he took that punch 'on purpose' because his ability relies on the enemy breaking his limbs.

So we probably will see him with a lot of extra limbs next chapter, getting closer to his epithet 'thousand limbs' THis whole chapter served to show that Luffy has no business taking a yonkou on at this point.

As for Urouge , he is pretty strong even pre time skip where he overpowered a Pacifista before he got surprised by a laser attack. So he is no pushover.

This chapter also keeps my theory alive that Luffy won't be fighting Big Mom or Kaido. Seeing how there is stuff happening at both fronts and both have a navigational poliglyph and got very similar build up during the past 3 arcs. I think this will be some kind of epic conclusion between 2 yonkou.

Just imagine Big Mom and Vinsmokes vs Kaidou and his 1000 beast army. And a lot of Supernova's and marines/WG running around. Judging this chapter facing a yonkou is out of the question at this point. I think his first '1 on 1' yonkou battle will be blackbeard.

I started thinking a similar thought a few weeks ago. BM seemingly will help the SH's with the intro of the Lola connec. so I doubt they'll actually fight. As to why I think she would fight Kaidou is because of Caesar. Kaidou's looking for him and Doffy and she's gonna be protecting her investments so I think a battle over Caesar will happen. Plus given her and Kaidou's descriptions she seems the best suited to fight him since as of now we have no way of knowing what can and can't damage him.

The only real reason I can think of for BM not to fight Kaidou and instead fight the SH's is if she doesn't actually like Lola and them being friends of hers upsets BM. There is a chance BM is mad at/with Lola she did leave the family after all, there's also a chance she never liked Lola seeing as all her other kids are named after food/drink yet Lola is not. Maybe she didn't like Lola so she didn't name her after food.

It's interesting to know even a top commander of a yonkou crew(who seems a physical fighter to top it of) is actually unable to block that shit and stand their ground, regardless of the amount of damage it did

There's a pretty big difference between Kong Gun (what Luffy did this chapter) and King Kong Gun..

It looks like we also have proof now, that you can get out of this forest without anyone knowing.. since Bruleé (or however you spell it.. the mirror lady) says that Urouge may still be in the forest rotting somewhere.. when we know he escaped and is free..

Hmmm.. I don't think so... I just double checked it now, and based on the way she's talking, it sounds like she means Cracker beat Urouge, and then she mentions that" nobody can escape this forest" going on to say that she's "sure" Urouge is "rotting off somewhere around here"...

To me, it's implying that she thinks Urouge is still in the forest..


Which would mean that BM and her crew aren't as "all knowing" as they wish to believe..

Giving Luffy and co. a chance to make BM believe they're "rotting in the forest", and then there's the opening for us to see them crash the wedding/tea party unexpectedly..

Ooooooo it's gonna be so epic!!
