I wonder what will happen to Doffy at the end of all of this. Will the effects of the gamma knife eventually end him or will he somehow escape? Maybe sugar will turn him to a toy... OR cp0 is lurking, waiting to kill him.

Also I hope we eventually get an explanation as to why we didn't see Zoro trying to cut the birdcage after his whole speech about there being nothing he can't cut XD


On another note, Luffy's g4 design is really growing on me. I was fine with it when it was revealed but Luffy really looks badass in some of these panels since then.

Didn't make sense to me at first how Doffy's threads skewered straight through Gatz's body and the bodies of so many people, but then just flicked Luffy, but I guess you can chock that up to Luffy just having higher durability than him, so makes sense now. And holy shit, Doffy tossing into the plateau, making sonic booms and shit. Interesting to see what Doffy's eyes will look like.

Pretty sure at this point that the shading at the end of those threads is Haki imbued into them.

Very satisfying ending... but how did Luffy get out of the birdcage? We can see when he's aiming down, the top where all the strings connect is right below him.

The stringst below him were those of the Spider web technique used by Doffy.

In the small panel to the left second highest one, you see a white space through the upper section of the birdcage. That is where Luffy and Doffy have their final clash.

Nothing indicates that Luffy Gear stacked. He made the muscles in his arm even bigger, that's still Gear 4.

More like the teasing of "D's" in your comment and that's just from the cover page, never mind the last!... And that's plural, as in Double D's! aha xD Not even factoring in Nami yet!

But on topic, this chapter needed to happen weeks ago and after a week break felt it was still a little short... BUT THE CONTENT! Finally a chapter I can really read over twice and just find more enjoyable! 5/5 for sure!

Also, what's happening on the last page in the top left panel? Is that Doflamingo being sent through the ground, just bounced of the ground? I can't fully tell with the surroundings :/

Am I the only one who thinks its funny that the author uses Doflamingo's sun glasses being broken as a sign of his defeat?

After the massive battle between them, the only come off and break now despite Luffy punching Doflamingo through buildings and in the face.

They only break after being hit with a blow powerful enough to split a sizable section of Dressrosa in two.

Yes, because manga usually make sense like that, every manga with powerful characters should have their characters lose all their clothes but that would just look stupid, clothes and hair in most manga are OP

10/10 chapter was completely insane!!

G4 no sold Parasite and look at that damage from King kong gun, it looked like dressrosa was tore in two.

Mingos blood was everywhere. HE GOT WRECKED.

I don't think that was Mingo's blood shown when he was falling. That was the water which appeared because of Luffy's attack which caused the island to break apart. Mingo is falling into the water.

Yeah, so in the larger image you can see him getting pulverized through the remaining plateau so in the next panel it's just a bit weird, too black maybe?
But the previous poster before you mentioned it's Doffy falling into water, that could be it... And quite possibly, the best thing to be honest!

Luffy walks up to Doflamingo, we see Doflamingo lying there with the shadow covering his eyes and the dialogue goes like this:

Doflamingo: "What are you waiting for? Finish me.."
[luffy walks past doffy and says "thats not upto me".]

We then get 2 panels of Law standing over doffy with a gun in his hand.
Law: "Ha ha...how the roles have reversed joker! I should kill you now for everything you have done."

[We get a shot of Doflamingo's eyes: "Kaidou is coming...either way im as good as dead"]

[Law pulls the trigger and we hear a gunshot of screen]

*But then later on we found out that Law shot the ground which was inches away from doflamingo face. Laws walks off and iterates.*
Law : "If i did it, i'd be no better than you".

Too much of a cliche if you ask me, I hope and don't see Oda doing that... Been a bit of discussion as to what's happened to Doffy, whether he's fallen into the sea or something and I'm becoming more and more fond of the idea, would be nice to have a villain as heinous as Doffy dead for once, perfect end for a DF eater too
