You traitorIf that's true I should inform the authorities to bring some magma fist justice upon you.
Nah he's still weaker10/10 chapter holy crap.
Lol at anyone who thinks Zoro is weaker than Law or Luffy, this guy is clearly their equal. Not to mention his feats almost parallel Laws this chapter.
This guy should be helping in the Doflamingo fight.
He did break a sweat but not because Pica was a match for himLOL at all these people saying Zoro didn't break a sweat when he had to spend like 15 chapters fighting Pica before he was able to land the defeating blow.
I can't even begin to care. Was it easy for Zoro to defeat Pica? Nope. Doesn't matter it wasn't because Pica was on his level of ability. He did break a sweat but not because Pica was a match for him
What i mean is that the difficulty of the fight was mid, but as a fighter Pica has never been a threat. It's just the understanding of Pica's devil fruit(it took him a while to understand) that raised the difficulty higher than it should have beenI can't even begin to care. Uhm, no, the difficulty of the fight is exactly what it should have been. The ability made the fight harder than it COULD have been. This would be like me saying Akainu's Devil Fruit and Haki would make a fight with Luffy harder than it should be because if you remove them, Luffy can defeat him much more easily. What i mean is that the difficulty of the fight was mid, but as a fighter Pica has never been a threat. Sorry the fight didn't tickle your nipples the exact way you wanted it. But, the struggle in this fight was simply different than the kind we've seen Zoro be in before. Pica was a struggle to his mental power, and he overcame it as Zoro always does with his physical challenges.Every major pre-skip fight zoro had was a new challenge to him and was pretty beaten up in each fight and every enemy put up a good fight against him making tension grow each time zoro struggled instead here we got pica who throughout the arc we never even had a panel with pica landing a single hit on zoro, picas been on run the whole arc hiding his body and getting slashed all the times until he decided to stall zoro and instead go for riku, tells how much of a fighter he was, and do u actually equal number of chapter to difficulty? the fight we got here was nothing short of crappy fight with an crappy ending, its pretty bad to say this but Oda's been writing inconsistent shit in this arc, as I said big scales and badass faces and lines dont equal tension, anyone who has read OP for a long time knows that this fight isnt a trait of OP and it has never been.
The excuse u just gave sounded like " I'll eat any and all shit Oda serves me" , sounds pretty accurate, dont u think?Sorry the fight didn't tickle your nipples the exact way you wanted it. This is simply Oda saying that Zoro's merit isn't just in his muscles, but he also has something to offer to the table mentally, not to mention the speed and Haki feats he just got. Sorry that that's not what you wanna see, but that sounds like some sour grapes you're gonna have to just go ahead and deal with swallowing.
Nope, I just know the difference between ¨Bad¨ and ¨Not my cup of tea.¨The excuse u just gave sounded like " I'll eat any and all shit Oda serves me" , sounds pretty accurate, dont u think?
At this point, I just care if the animation/art is good because I'll trust that One Pace will fix the issue of the pacing. To answer your question, they probably will have to extend the fight like add a lot of clashes or have Zoro slice him up even more. The budget of the episode should be pretty high seeing how they have to animate the fight itself and Elizabello's king punch.Oh man I just thought of something, do you think the anime is gonna do a good job of this, or is it possible they would extend it to make Pica look less weak?
OMG. That makes so much sense, finally. What makes people think that Oda fu??ed up? Have you read the past 777 of OP, do you really think Oda can't draw a good fight for Zoro? I mean it couldn't possibly be that the first non-fodder opponent in the NW just wasn't a match for Zoro right? It couldn't possibly be that Oda has stronger opponents planned for Zoro, and guess what, it makes sense, in part 1 the first serious opponent for Zoro was (bar Mihawk) Daz Bones, the last the Pacifista and the gap between them is a loooooooooooooooooooooooo...ooooooooooooot smaller than the power gap between the no-name Pica and Mihawk, so how exactly was Zoro supposed to become the strongest swordsman at the end of part 2 if he can't even deal with Pica after 2 years of training with Mihawk? Pretty much The only enemies left that will be challenging are the top of OPV, Yonko and their right and left hands, the few strongest remaining Sichibukai, CP 0 and the Marines/WG
I'm not saying you have to like it, I'm simply saying that anyone who read 777 chapters of OP should have learned to expect stuff like this OP had a lot of short fights, Oda can bring a challenge and a threat when he needs to, he simply decided that someone like Pica isn't worthy of it, after 777 chapters do you still not have enough faith in Oda to write a good story (despite fangasming over all his forshadowing and references)? It's a story consisting of 76 volumes, not a 2 chapter story
