- I lolled hard when sugar made a appearance , she's petrified from long nosed people. That includes me also. I better watch out i don't want to be turned into a toy...ahem. Slave.

- Rebecca's going to get owned by Diamente. But then thats where Kyros will make his debut. Its just anime style for him out of all people to make such a entrance. Even though Luffy & Law will be there too.

QUESTION

Why did Rebecca take Law's cuffs key with her? If the others were going to meet up with luffy and that i see no point in having rebecca take the key with her


PREDICTIONS

Cavendish & Robin vs Trebol [ Bartholomeo will stay back to take care of Gladius, his most equipped to do so ]

Rebecca & Kyros vs Diamente. - Confirmed kinda




Realistically they should rest and watch the fight ^ but Luffy & Law will go ahead to find Doflamingo as we need story progression. This arc has gone on long enough Lol

I predict ALL of Doflamingo's crew will be defeated before we see the Doflamingo fight because otherwise they might try interfering

To answer your question. Rebecca was holding the key to give to Law. The plan was to meet ok n the fourth level (where she is). Robin and Barto got k1. nock out of the sky (bullshit I'll address later). So Robin yells for her to simply keep going. Unfortunately, it'd turn out that Luffy is ironically where they fall to on level three. That's why she has it and is not regrouping. Two of them got knocked down, and dragged Gladius down with them.




OT: Gah...this chapter. So good, yet so vexing.


Firstly, let's say the good things.

1. Kanjuro is hilarious. Screwing over Ussop was great, but the panels with Ussop telling Kanjuro to not stop Sepuku was hilarious. Then he uses Kanjuro as a seat.

2. Gladius is just a Badass. He's probably my favorite DD member after Vergo.

3. Loving Cavendish. When he's not self absorbed, he's a really cool dude.

4. Robin thinking to pull down Gladius was pretty smart.

5. That panel with Diamante. That was magnificent.



Now to rant cause I'm a ***** like that.

1. If you look at tbe panels....no way is Robin (who's positioned further ahead and below Bartolomeo) is knocked out of the sky. Barto was closer to Rebecca than Robin.

2. Robin wastes yet another EASY opportunity to snap an opponents neck (first being Sugar this arc).

3. Viola, way to fail at using your devil fruit. The whole point is so they give Law the key Rebecca has. Why then, does she not locate Luffy, and more so direct them to Luffy. Seriously one call with, "Hey, turns out they are right below you." Saves this plot a shit load of complication. I mean sure she's looking for other things... But why not bother dealing with the first problem first. Especially since that trio isn't going to exactly have a picnic on Doflamingo's level without all the Executives (Trebol Diamante Sugar) plus maybe Doffy himself to ice them.

4. *sigh*. Oda, your really can't just give Robin a single legitimate solo fight can you... Can you...



Overall a 4/5. I expected as much for Robin. I'm at least satisfied her opponent is a Badass Spade. Rebecca and Diamante was just an amazing panel. Kanjuro was hilarious with Ussop. Cavendish looking real cool #RoundTable.

awesome chap.kanjuro is cool. love the sugar scene when she freaked out at the long nose guy, when i saw farule get his head bitten i went ahh horsey! just like luffy did lol. barty is robins slave! <3 diamante is cool.
how can law make quick work of the toys who reattached their heads?
hopefully barty shows his skills.

There wasn't much progress, just a setting-up chapter as more and more Strawhats (and their allies) are meeting up DD's elite soldiers:

Also Robin putting up make-up on the color spread was <3

What i like is that usop is a very good match up against sugar.
Sugar's biggest problem is long range fighters who she can't "touch" and hence cannot use her abilities on that person.
Usop being a long range fighter is the worst nightmare for sugar .

phobia of long-things also helps his case. Lol

Ohhh, Usopp is running around with Kanjuros pencil.
Does that mean, combining of powers? Now Usopp is going to show that Samurai how to do this right dammit.. drawing that is.
It's been a while since we've actually seen Usopp's artistic skills isn't it?

That being said... man I am so glad he got up on his legs again and is walking, I liked he got to stand up for himself and fight, but it's really dissapointing we got to see none of it.
Now it looks like he will have another shining moment actually doing stuff we will be able to see! That makes me very very happy.
I would like for him to actually win a fight in this arch, which is not won by mere chance and accident but by, his smarts or something, that would be lovely.

Some-thing needs to be done about sugar, apparently as long as she's around, she will keep on turning innocent people into toys.. yuck.. she needs to.. I got no idea, killing her doesn't seem very ideal either.
Urh.. Usopp help me out, what are you going to do about her? You got do some-thing! Yes you! Hey don't run screaming away from me, COME BACK HERE!

Oh poor Law, when will he ever get those handcuffs off? You should just have let Luffy do it back when you had the chance.

It's better if Law's handcuff being unlocked while those three in battle before heading towards Doffy, Luffy (or maybe Cavendish too) will never have enough time to do it when they arrive there.

I'm more inclined to believe it will got like this: Diamante toys around with Rebecca > a few psychological taunts about Rebecca's mother just to make her feel despair > tries to kill her > Kyros arrives, saves Rebecca and beats Diamante.

Not that it's very One Piece-like, but how'd you feel if Rebecca actually died by Diamante's hands? Kyros ends up losing his daughter before she ever gets to meet him as a human. A bit tragic, if I have to say so myself.
