I agree..he said what he learned from akaniu..its cofusing ~_~Ao is more of a blue-green, correct? Would it be more accurate to guess Midoriushi?
Fantastic chapter, but I need a *********** translation stat. Doflamingo at one point implied that Fujitora's power may not be his own. Or possibly a non-devil fruit technique that is learnable? If so, the adversity that the StrawHats will inevitably have to face is frightening.
I actually didn't like Usopp's lies... Up until now, he invented his own lies, out of his creativity and imagination itself. He would tells stories to make people awe, and it was fun to see how his stories became real. In this chapter, though, all the stories he told were feats other people did, that he clearly knew about. Like claiming to be descendant of Norland, or, and that really irked me, 50 thousand people defeated with haki (Luffy's feat). His lies stopped being funny and useful stories that would later, by means of fate, become true without his knowledge, to become actual acts of lying from people that actually did the feats, and he was there to see, very reminiscent of Gilderoy Lockhart. In fact, his power to guide a large amounts of "followers" based on lies makes me think of Buggy the Clown, and Usopp isn't showing enough creativity or even endearment, to makes us think he is the "light" version to Buggy's "dark".This is why OP is my #1 manga =D
The reference to the Giant Goldfish, which in itself was a reference to Usopp's lies, of Little Garden and it being related to the Fighting Fish. The reference to Montblanc Norland, the male children having the 'sugoi' eyes while the female children have a death start when Franky the Tank passes by...just the best.
So there is a 2nd new admiral called Green Bull huh.
He'll probably kill 50,000 enemies with Caesers gas inside of fist sized projectiles.I actually didn't like Usopp's lies... For example, instead of claiming to defeat 50 thousand people with haki, why not say he sniped thousands of people? Which could later become a great feat of power of his own. Or when the rumbling started he could say it's his power, like million giants trampling all together. I dunno, something like that. I disliked the lie...
Though I'm interested to see where the Norland lie will take him. I wasn't as irked about that lie as I was with Luffy's lie.

I think that's his name but I wonder something about these admirals that have been bothering me about their new appearance story-wise. Where were these future admirals in the Marineford war and why haven't we seen or heard of them untill now? When I always thought of the 2 new admirals I thought about the Vice-admirals in Marineford and none of them seemed strong enough to become Admirals in 2 years time. I was right in that but who're these people now?
Didn't Fujitora say that he was new to the Navy, and Doflamingo said that Fujitora was assigned as Admiral at the ''Global Military Enlistment''. So, he, and possibly Ryokugyuu, started their sailor-career some time during the timeskip, but they were so powerful they were assigned as Admirals from the get-go.Well it's not really strange. For starters plotwise it doesn't work if they all would have already been introduced back then. The element of surprise is gone. Also even though they summoned as much soldiers as possible to fight WB, you need to take into consideration that the marines are spread over the entire world, so not all of them could have gotten to Marineford on time (marineships are quite faster than pirate ships). However more importantly they couldn't afford to weaken the entire world if they would bring every last powerhouse to Marineford as that could lead to the loss of countries, fortresses etc. They still needed strong people to maintain other key positions in the world.
Lol i never thought of it like that! He seems like a badass Admiral and am liking him now. The last few chapters made it a 4 star for me. I just want to know whats happening with Law and Luffy. So fujitora is a meteor meteor man? Damn copied madara lol
Yeah I just read the MS version, it makes more sense now.Didn't Fujitora say that he was new to the Navy, and Doflamingo said that Fujitora was assigned as Admiral at the ''Global Military Enlistment''. @Caliburn, at Marineford every Vice-Admiral and above had to present, and that was the case back then. So, let's say if Fujitora was a sailor back then (which isn't the case), he would've definitely been there considering how powerful he is.
edit: Check ***********'s translation, it might clear up some confusion.
would you rather have 6 sloppy and rushed chapters or one well thoughtout and amazing chapter?Gah, I want more. If only Oda was doing what Mashima is for the next two weeks...

I dont think its any of that he mentions in todays manga that he is new to the navy.Well it's not really strange. For starters plotwise it doesn't work if they all would have already been introduced back then. The element of surprise is gone. Also even though they summoned as much soldiers as possible to fight WB, you need to take into consideration that the marines are spread over the entire world, so not all of them could have gotten to Marineford on time (marineships are quite faster than pirate ships). it wasnt easy for them..law barely countered it..I had the same facial expression as Law when that damned Marine brought down a meteor !_! But with the three of them easily countering like that.....we are definitely going to have one HELL of a fight on our hands here lol. But yeah it was also funny with Franky commenting to Sanji like that xD
