I hope the charachters will remain funny after the timeskip, for example Naruto gotten a lot more serious. But according to these leaked pictures i think we don't have to worry about the comic relief.

If you think about it, there are only one reason for a mangaka to make such long pause. Oda will work on the character's new looks, after 2 years, and figure out the new story lines and adventures, or at least manage to get an idea to follow. I do hope all of them become even stronger (And hotter xd)
