After hearing how Love Live is gaining a massive fanbase, including on Reddit, I'm going to check it out. But yeah. I don't know what's wrong with Japan when it comes to the genres of Loli and Ecchi. It's sick.

Love Live! is not a loli series. I watched the entire first season of the anime and there wasn't even a male character present nor was it yuri. It was honestly just a show about girls forming a dance/singing group of like 11 chicks and making music.

As long as the OP anime is as ... bad ... as it is it will be hard, Toei is just too sh!t, I'm the biggest OP fanboy I ever met and I dont want to buy those anymore because I prefer the fancuts (but sadly fans cant improve the awful toei art, just pacing), I haven't even watched the Toei versions since Sabo first appeared, I'd rather get More OP Portrait Of Pirates figures

On the other hand OP manga twice outsold the 2nd best selling one so it still has no competition whatsoever
