One Piece has lost it top spot to an increasingly popular Loli series called Love Live. Some people speculate that it's a punishment for Oda's question about the series, which has triggered many fans of the series and has opened up a case of butthurt.

On the other hand, I would like to congratulate the series for taking the top spot. I hope the series creator enjoys the top spot for now. Many OP fans are not worried, because of two major arcs: Wano and Reverie, which will be coming up later in this year after the Vinsmoke Arc.

Yes but they are mostly going to help manga sales, which One Piece already doubles the next best seller.

I was more surprised Film Gold didn't put it over the top, but closely looking at that link it says film tickets weren't included, and it only included up to December 11, meaning the Film Gold DVD/Blue ray sales were not included. If those are included I think One Piece would still be on top overall media wise.
