Because I am alot more developed than you who comes to a thread like this just to argue about how much a comic suck without even watching it. I never spoke badly of OP before I had read it, instead I kept my mouth shut, saw one episode and fell in love with it. Nothing wrong with me beeing smarter then you, so I thank you for the compliment ^^. Take a look at the posts in the thread.

Naruto fans: You stink! Never saw One Piece but I bet it sucks hard!!! Seriously, gtfo!!!

One Piece fans: One Piece is an anime about slavery, racism, friendship and more serious matters. The characters are further developed then the ones in Naruto, cause the author has taken his time to describe them and the story line better then Kishi. We get that you like Naruto, but we say we like One Piece better, and we like Naruto aswell.

"If I'd give Naruto 10/10, then I'd give Op 9.5/10 and bleach 8.5/10 (cuz it got very boring after aizen's death)".

first watch one piece and then comment guys.One piece is epic awesome .Naruto used to be awesome for me until I started watching one piece.I was also arrogant once claiming Naruto is the best.But after seeing one piece ,I am totally in love with it.

Story wise,plot wise and even character development wise ,I think one piece is way way better than naruto .This should not be between naruto or one piece .This should be between who is a better writer Oda or Kishi.It is oda without a doubt ,that is because
1.character development -
Oda never forgets any character in the past and everyone gets a very deep character development .On the other hand,we all know what happened to Konoha 11 after naruto original series especially characters like tenten,lee,these days even sakura seems to be ignored .what is the use of introducing so many characters at expense of the main characters ? We don't know anything about sakura's past or family except that she likes sasuke .So there you go poor character development .The side characters are as good as dead.

Manga :
Oda uses at max 1 or 2 pages max to describe about a flashback.Kishi can utilize an entire chapter only for a flashback which was already revealed several times.

Story:
So far only half of one piece is done and Oda always managed to maintain the thril.The story is just winding up .No one can predict what is gonna happen next.Oda always explain about every character in detail .there are no random characters who come and disappear.Every character can surprise us by revisiting us .That is Oda's style.
We all know about the story of naruto,sasuke ,Akatsuki and the 4 villages .Kishi is literally speeding up the war.We don't have enough background about the remaining kages .He is trying to compress everything in the war arc which has left so many loop holes like how kakashi defeated the 7 swordsmen etc.

Anime :
One piece hardly has fillers and even the fillers are so good and funny.We all know how irritating the naruto fillers are.

I used to be Naruto fan before I started OP... I made a thread to ask how OP is,and got recommendations to must read... When I started OP,I honestly wasn't expecting to be this much good... I thought...a rubber man ...?huh! How childish and felt like it was trying to fool me like other kids manga do... But little patience PAID ME BACK WITH best story,character handling, and made me a huge fan!
OP has more mature readers... I can prove that within this site even if it is Narutobase... Most of sage/kage/sannin ranked members are Hardcore OP lovers... Count yourself and see!
Meanwhile Naruto fans are mostly 10-15 age group...while OP is read among every age group...
Hence, OP»»»»Naruto fans»»»»Naruto...mark these words and make them your sig...
On topic... I think this thread should target only those readers who have read both not only Naruto lovers...and some patience less narutards...

1) You saw 5 eps, never gave it a fair chance. And like it's been said, you've gotta have a fair amount of IQ too be able to get OP.
2) You suddenly "started OP again" and you didn't like it? Screw you. You missed the vital points in the story: The destruction of arlong Park, Ohara, Franky house, Usopp's saddnes, Bellemere-San, Zoro's owe to a friend, Sanij's dream, Franky's pain, Brook's friend and last but not least... Portogas D. Ace. The brother of Luffy. We all love Ace and worship him, if you speak badly of OP, you speak badly of Ace.
3) I was a member of NB for 5 months before I started OP, and before that I liked Naruto, now I gotta admitt it's boring and easy to predict.
4) I wouldn't mind letting you say what you wanted if you where speaking good of Naruto, but all I hear from you is how much OP suck and how much we as persons suck.

Why I like Naruto?

Here's the answer:
It's the story of a young boy, who was hated by everyone. Always doing crazy things just because he wanted to be acknowledged by people, whether it be bad things. He makes some good friends instead of the beast inside him. And he is able to overcome his pain. Because he wants to protect those close to him he works hard, and decides to become strong. Because of his hard-work and determination to be acknowledged by people he becomes incredibly strong.
