As there is a saying ," A candle will burn bright before it dies ".This is same case with naruto and their fans.Common guys,Naruto is already on its death bed.The story can't progress beyond 4th ninga war .why no new characters were introduced or atleast forshadowed .It will be over in another year or so.When naruto ends,I wonder where you naruto fans will go.

In a matter of another year Naruto will end,But ODA had already planned the next 10 years of one piece .The best thing ,he even foreshadowed many places and introduced several characters 10 years back characters like shank ,places like new world etc whose arc will has not even started .This is where kishi losses to oda. Kishi can't possibly introduce a new villian or a new hero now ,it would lame if he does so. Where

I gave up on the anime after the pain vs 6 tails... One piece didn't fail at animation that bad anytime actually One Piece never failed at animation if you ask me i read naruto and all im wondering about tomorrow is to see kyuubi fight nothing more...

just a small comment. why are one piece fans here so obsessed on proving that one piece is better than naruto? if you're that convinced, shouldn't you let the manga speak for itself? yet i see one piece fans bashing naruto all the time, and tbh i sometimes get the sense that they're pressured into it by the higher ups in the one piece section, it's a bit wierd, anyone who deviates from the accepted standards is immediately pounced upon. i don't get why liking one piece would neccesiate bashing naruto, especially if you also watch it.

anyway, i don't like poeple who try to impose their opinion on others. there are already tons of sasuke and minato fans trying to do that, no need to add one piece into the mix.

Such threads should be forbidden. They only start another cycle of hatred (towards OP cuz it's Naruto website) and convince people not to give OP a fair chance.
We all already know that OP is superior for most of the people who gave a series a chance and like true anime's with all their depth. Unless you only digg this ninja stuff and love flying kunais everywhere while there are "mythological beats" waiting around the corner (which is also cool), by all means, prefere Naruto, but dont bash OP.
And i love the fact that despite this is Naruto site, there are so many OP fans, i love it.

You would think that the narutofans would´ve learned something about hatred and war to be this hateful for one piece fans stating facts.

Manga sales:
One Piece has more manga sales than ANY manga in the history of mangas, yes more than DBZ too. One Piece manga sales has beaten ALL sales records in Japan when it comes to books.

All of ya'll saying: Naruto has more viewers, so its better.. utter and complete bullshit.
Even if a series is more popular than another one, it says nothing about which one is better. It's the ratings that count.

Many reasons can be behind the fact that OP has the most sales... economical one, for instance! But i won't go there.
I agree with you: more viewers doesn't mean better... and we have many examples, as Rebecca Black, JB, Britneys and so on...
But i don't agree on the rating... I don't go to any site to rate, i really don't care for that.
And many must think alike.
Now, you like OP and gave it 5 star. You have that thing in your fingers that makes you want to rate things... and you like OP better than Naruto so, 4 stars for Naruto.
To get to the point: the only thing we can be sure is that those who rate consider OP better.. again, those who rate.

Which one is better... it depends on your tastes, on what you hope to find in a series/anime... if you want a love story and there is none you'll not like, but some will say it was awesome!​

One Piece does not only have more sales, it also beats Naruto in rating when it comes to both Manga and Anime. Check page 10 with the numbers I posted there.
Rating is what determines if a series is good, and One Piece has better ratings than Naruto and thus One Piece >> Naruto.

When he says: One Piece is better than Naruto, he has as many facts supporting what he just said as when someone says that the Sun is a Star.

It's not obvious, it's debatable because it depends of your tastes...

Um mate rating is the same thing as sales, you didnt think about my example between Ford and Bugatti properly, just because it is watched by or loved by everyone then that doesnt necesarily mean its better. At the end of the day a lot of people love One Piece because its their personal taste, Justin Bieber has excellent ratings in music, are you gonna agree with that too? Fair enough if you do because thats your taste.

When you are a fan and/or a hater you can't see that... it's all about opinions/tastes, but they don't get it... they think it's a fact!​

This thread and dozen of others is already enough proof that One Piece is more popular among manga fans. Where have you seen another manga so activly muscling in on the title manga of the forum? It's absurd. It's preposterous!

It's not just this forum. Narutoforums.com, which is the biggest or second biggest naruto forum on the nets, has a similiar situation. There are about as much OP fans as there are Naruto fans over there.

It says alot about One Piece because most of these fans were Naruto fans at first and then they switched to OP or still watch both but majority of these fans prefer One Piece over Naruto. Think about that.

Give it two or three more years, Naruto will die (end) and One Piece is going to completely take over the manga/anime world. Even the hardcore Naruto fans will start watching OP out of boredom. It's just a matter of small period of time. Naruto fans are practicly dying species.
