After the Wano arc, I had suspected Shanks not being the childhood hero I believe he was when the series had started. Actually had suspected him when he showed up in the 5 elders place. Obviously I learned later that person was his brother...

Well, the discussion which of the two was now exactly in the meeting with the Five Elders during the Reverie, is intensifying again. First it was Shanks, then it was Shamrock, but now it's again an open question.

Shanks has his own agenda, so does Blackbeard.

Shanks seems to want to look for the one piece, or maybe prevent others from claiming it.

Two things here since that is taking up 75% of my screen: 1: You can manually resize images on the forum now by copy and pasting it, clicking it, then dragging the little boxes to resize it or 2: spoiler it. z.z

Not trying to be rude though. It was just very unexpected and I am in a bad mood. Thanks for the reference.

Interesting opinions. I believe that that the most characters in the series don't know the real Shanks. And we have had found out that Shanks is a more intriguing character than we originally thought.

I think no one knows the real Shanks. The guy has been one of the most enigmatic characters since the beginning.

Anyhow, we finally reached the initial starting point of the flash-back. The prelude only took half a year or so xd

@Caliburn are you still keeping up with the manga ? The newest chapters flashback lore sets up more theories.

Naturally U_U

There are only three certainties in life: death, taxes and One Piece.

to be fair, its actually four. the fourth one is: flashbacks

Ok, seriously now.
I've finally caught up with the manga! (again). I've been reading and watching One Piece for over 15 years, and sometimes, I get some burn out. Not because of the story at all, its just me lol. Anyways, I've enjoyed everything thus far. I knew Elbaf would bring us so many answers (and more questions???)
What I'm most interested at the moment is actually how Loki and Luffy will handle the current situation, anddddd I'd love to see Dragon (but that's some personal preference, don't even ask me what he'd do there.)

I feel like this Brook past is indeed relevant, but maybe Oda could've given us this later? Like, he had a brief talk with her, and understood (or theorized, even) who she was for some seconds. Unless he has something else to reveal, that brings us back to the current timeline though? I'll be patiently waiting.

Just wanted to add that, after so many months without reading and watching, damn... Oda really is a good storyteller. He truly is.
Ohh, lastly, I wanted to add how I am enjoying Loki's character :yay:
