Why did they censor the blood from Law losing his arm? They showed so much blood for iconic/epic moments like Zoro's sacrifice but not this? Typical Toei but I'm surprised it was censored that much because in the manga it didn't show that much blood. The art/animation wasn't anything special, it was actually awful in some scenes.

True. Let's hope that the animation/art is good for Zoro vs Pica (finale), Luffy (Gear 4th) vs Doffy & Kaido's appearance (including the epic narrations).

I immediately watched it after reading you post. Hoped One piece got better after these years that i haven't watched the anime. To my surprise it still made my eye bleed, guess ill stick with the manga till another studio takes up one piece and give it the animation it deserves.

I'm honestly surprised they showed the severed arm. I was half-expecting some kind of censorship, like the arm being off-screen, or close up of Law with the joint at the severed point being cut off, pun intended.

I've always wondered why Law didn't use Koka on that part of his arm.

Has Law ever used CoA as a defense ? I only recall him using it with his sword to parry and in the attack.

Well the censorship is inconsistent. I remember they showed a scene where Luffy thought he'll lose his arms to Mihawk in MF. It had the blood and everything.

Well I think it was great but then again, anything is better than Naruto's animation!
