Don't worry. Since it was Oda, he knew how to twist the already leaked spoiler later on, we didn't know to what extent Oda had been telling the kid about it.

Think of it as in modifying or bending the truth. It may have the same outcome of the said ending, but Oda can either put it as the final moment of OP series or slightly before that. We still don't know what kinda info Oda had informed the kid, whether it was about the gist of the whole series or it really was the end scene details. But for the kid to finally comment 'One Piece is beautiful' while smiling, probably Oda summarised them all. It may become less epic if it'll be leaked among the fans, but it won't hurt much.

It's not really a spoiler because all they said in the article is that Oda revealed the ending to some kid with cancer and then it states the child's reaction. Not like it's been leaked or anything.
