How often do One Piece episodes get dubbed? I finished all the dubs and now have to watch the subs. I personally don't like the subs for One Piece. Anyways, does anyone know how often One Piece episodes get dubbed? Thanks.

They dub one season every year I think ^_^
I personally like the subs though... much better voice actors :)

Dear God....I imagine One Piece dubs won't be completed until like 15 years.

Go sub. They come out regulary and its the original, so no words will have to be cut to match the lips movement.

There were no dubs for a long time up to episode 206 until this year when Funimation got hold of the rights and they released episodes 207-217. They will release the next season soon I think but don't know when exactly.

I can only hope it's really soon. Depending on when, I might take a break and start to watch another, shorter anime. xd

1. I speak English. It's easier for me to listen and be entertained if it's in English.
2. If I ever wanna do something while watching (Pokemon xd), I can do it to Dubs, but not to Subs. Subs require me to pay attention all the time so I don't miss anything.

Those are two main reasons why I watch dubs rather than subs.

Really? I think Luffy's voice is way too high and annoying compared to his English dub.

I'm just telling you my opinion... it's up to you which one you're going to watch :)
The English dub doesn't sync with the animation, and you can hear the Japanese voice actors are much more experienced.
Luffy's voice is perfect in Japanese, and I really think you should watch the sub instead.

It's not that Japanese are more experienced. It's that they do the voices before the the animation is made, so the animation is made to fit their voices. When English dub is made, they have to voice work post animation, so it's more difficult because can't freely voice act.

But yeah, in some dubs, voices are horrid. Anyways, do whatever you like.
