One Piece discussion: Shanks vs Marshall D Teach Round 2?!

It's already been hinted that Shanks cross blows with Teach sometime in the past, this was first revealed during the conversation between Shanks and WhiteBeard, Shanks stated he received an direct attack from Teach.

During the fishmen island arc I believe there was a panel with Black Beard holding a claw type weapon, which is how Shanks received that scar on his face.

Do you guys think at some point during new world Shanks and Teach will cross paths and fight each other again? Who do you think will win in this fight?

*Bouns*: What if Shanks dies during the fight with Teach, will this help Luffy mature some as a character?

Well I would say Luffy matured a lot (of course when it is time to be serious) with Ace's death.

I could easily see them crossing paths, but honestly Shanks's crew seems far stronger IMO...but at this point Blackbeard is probably the most OP character....he screws over any Devil Fruit User while he know has the greatest Paramecium Fruit.

I could see them fighting...Blackbeard would probably win....unfortunately

I have a feeling that BB will take over one more devil fruit power. He already has Logia and paramecia. All thats left is a zoan. I say this after seeing the logo of his jolly roger. If i'm not wrong it has three heads and i guess 3 symbolizes 3 devil fruit abilities.
Currently i guess shanks is the strongest but BB and his crew are probably 2nd strongest

The only thing that stopped BB on Marineford were his own plans with respect to shanks.
And the fight is sure to happen. Only thing to see is if it happens before Luffy meets with shanks or after he meets with shanks.
Also Shanks has a very powerful Haoshoku, which further dents his morale. Cause it has been strongly hinted that Haoshoku is a very rare and powerful ability considering the reaction of even akainu when luffy displayed his Haoshoku. That is the only reason why teach has not fought shanks. Untill we know more about this Haoshoku we cannot say anything.

Shanks and his group are deffinately the strongest overall...BB sweeps Second place.

Individually Shanks honestly is still probably the strongest (only because BB is for some reason retarded to a degree...I mean look at him while fighting Whitebeard. He got destroyed at points because he did something stupid: like when he stopped paying attention and Whitebeard just punched him down).

BB should be the strongest due to his devil fruits....he just hasn't used them well (though with these past two years he could have wisened up when against strong enemies).

As for a devil fruit. I wouldn't be shocked....A good candidate for him would maybee be Marco or Drake X...as both have unique and powerful devil fruits! I don't really remember his flag, but with three heads that would make sense!

I don't mind if Shanks and BB fight.. but Luffy better be far away from that battle.. he is nowhere near their level..

I think Shanks and Teach will cross paths in new world the hints are there. I think we'll get a more detail flash back on Shanks and Teach first encounter when they meet in the new world. Teach in my opinion will defeat Shanks since Teach is a op character in One Piece, plus Teach has been stealing devil fruits in the new world too. We don't know much about Shanks feats, but it's going to be interesting to see Shanks fight full out, if this happens. When it comes to Luffy hes one of those characters you can't help but like nothing wrong with that, I just think Luffy lacks maturity and wisdom to be an actual captain. If Shanks actually dies from this fight with Teach, I think Luffy will gain a little maturity, which he needs in my opinion.
