One Piece Chapter 750 : The Heart, Corazon.

Luffy is shocked that doffy murdered his brother and questions law why.
Law states that doffy and Corazon were twins that shared almost everything, but had different views on life. while doffy viewed others under him as weak, Corazon was more sympathetic.
When doffy wanted to take over dressrosa, Corazon was against it and they fought with doffy killing him as law witnessed the event.
Law stated that though they were brothers, Corazon was more of an older brother to law than doffy could have ever been to him.
When luffy asks if he admired him cause of that, he stated yes and its cause of such brotherly love is why he saved luffy in the first place.
Law states luffy’s love for Ace, having gone through hell and back to save him and his brother died for him made law refuse to let Ace’s death be in vain and admitted such an act for a little brother reminded him of Corazon.
Law mentions that Corazon saved his life and gave him the best gift he could have ever asked for. when luffy asks,
Law goes into a flashback:
15 years ago
A young 11 year old Law is shown in the north blue meeting the donquixote family. Doffy invites him but Law refuses on the grounds he doesn’t work for anyone. Later, he bumps into Vergo and, after almost exposing his identity as he tries to enlist for the marines (as doffy mentioned he was a mole in the marines for 15 years) causes Vergo to leave him half dead to silence him.
Corazon is shown and stops Vergo before he kills him.
info box reveals Corazon at 25 and original user of ope ope no mi. he takes law to a remote location and performs surgery on him. Corazon notices laws heart was punctured and needs a transplant, but cannot find a suitable donor in time to save him, as law has a rare blood type.
Law wakes up and is alive. Corazon reveals he gave law his heart to survive while exchanging with some random pirate to keep himself alive. As law questions why he would give him his own heart, Corazon states its because he’s like family to him.
Law, moved to tears over Corazon willing to give him his own heart, thanks him and willingly becomes a member of the donquixote family as in the present time law says Corazon gave him “the heart of brotherhood”.
