According to the conversation of Smoker (and his people), two years ago Punk Hazard was just a “normal, stinkin’ island.” But Akainu and Aokiji’s fight changed the weather.

heres a quick translation for those wanting to know (sorry at work so can’t be too detailed):

The crew are getting chased by the enemies but Nami says she can’t turn her back on children crying and asking for help so tries to stop the enemies despite Sanji trying to stop her.
In the room where the crew were captured the ‘PH crew’ are looking at the remains/aftermath on the wall and state that Vegapunks Pacifista’s are the only ones that have the ‘lazer’ technology.
In the sky, the bird human is talking to someone on the denden mushi. The person on the other line says that they’re going to get rid of the 4 intruders.
Luffy and Zoro receive a call from Brook via den den mushi. In front of Brook there is an impressive looking building.
The bird humans opponent (don’t quite understand what he means here… this is the direct translation) is a Kentauros (bottom half leopard top half human) who has another companion of a top half giraffe bottom half human.
