[Theory] One Piece arcs

At first Zou was skypiea 2.0, with the recent chapter it felt like water 7 2.0 because of the water.
Sanji may have gotten captured and taken somewhere, the new bounty of wanted only alive feels like foreshadowing of Ennies Lobby 2.0 which will lead to Wano Kuni which is Thriller Bark 2.0(Ryuuma's grave/birthplace,Kaido etc).
Oh and let's not forget when Blackbeard beats revolutionary army or atleast Sabo, captures him and sends him to the marines we will have Marineford 2.0 with Luffy using the Vivre Card to search for him just like he did with Ace.

The only arcs that have a chance of being original and a breath of fresh air are the future Big Mom arc and Elbaf arc.

This arc barely started. They have been on the island for like what? Two-three chapters? That's not even remotely sufficient to start placing labels like 2.0 on it. Secondly your parameters to start deciding these labels are rather shallow to say the least and sometimes even nonsensical. There's water so it's Water 7 2.0? Water? In a series based on pirates? How odd.

When Dressrosa started, people were also saying that it was Alabasta all over again, but in the end the two were completely different.

They weren't different at all, just the characters were different, the story and everything was the same. Water 7 was a city that constantly had water flooding through it just like is the case with Zou this chapter so it is similar to Water 7.

Well I think your right but when he said water I think he meant those trenches/slides. They look a lot like the ones in Water 7.

And the begging to this arc has been very simular to Sky Island. That thing the flew down at them when they where ridding up the elephant is like when Wiper first attacked them. And riding up a giant elephant is like riding up the knock up stream. The Forrest guardian's when first mentioned reminded me of the Priests and your not allowed to go there like God's Island.

I think it will start to shift and people have made an assumption that Sanji was kidnapped and he needs saving but I don't think it's gonna be that simple.

Sabo will not get captured in this, instead he will kick some ass and maybe luffy will join him getting to see Gomu Gomu No duo Brother Magnum Pistol.
