Agreed, it does get too much hate.

You have family that are interested in One Piece?.... o_O

AvatarZuko is a lucky dude xD

OT: Yeah I agree bro. The anime shouldn't be watched weekly or else you will notice the terrible pacing a lot more. People should watch like every 10 eps.

I could never get my girlfriend to even take the slightest interest in this manga <.<
I plan to brainwash my child with it however...

Yea, I usually watch anime only after school when I am eating dinner. So, my mom was watching with me as we usually eat dinner around the same time and she liked it, so we started from the beginning and watched like 2 episodes a day and now she is on PH. My friends love it as well and we used to keep a student in our house and he watched the anime like crazy after I showed it to him and he is caught up now.

OT: Thanks for all the replies and yes I agree that watching multiple episodes is better and it hides the pacing issues. All is said is that the anime is underrated and it is perfectly fine for telling the story and getting people interested.

This proves that One Piece is not exclusively for 12-18 year old people like many seem to think
One Piece is ageless, everyone can love this , if willing to try
