isnt it? personally ive stopped watching one piece anime the last time that i watched it was when fujitora was getting rekt in casino by some wanna be buggy. anyway lets go back to why i hate the anime. i hate it its because i hate it and think about it. when you Read the manga you were like in this deep sheeeeeeeet...... world of one piece that you just wanna stay forever and ever and just dont want to stop reading then pop! after the end thing the last page of the chapter.. you just wanna speed up the time! go to the future or some sheet just to read the next chapter! thats how i wanna see the anime! it deserves freaking better! now you can complain you brats how i just be thankful that theres one and your not paying anything. its funny! and hella gey! hehe.. seriously..

The anime follows the manga almost exactly, yet it doesn't leave you waiting for more? Maybe cause you already know what's going to happen? If that's your reason for thinking it deserves better, that's pitiful.

2 main problems

1.) Pacing, I swear they can EASILY fix this by going on a 5-10 episode filler and creating a cover-story arc for the anime only fans who are missing out on canon material. (after the Dressrosa arc is finished)

2.) I believe Gintøki brought this up a while ago but they keep switching the anime staff for the show weekly. It just creates a lot of inconsistencies. Not to mention most of the staff members are pretty lazy but some of them are really talented.

Even with these 2 problems, there are times when the episodes are pretty good. I don't think these 2 problems will ever be resolved because of OP's popularity & possibly Toei's work ethic.

have you ever tried fma? the manga, the anime is a master piece! like you just wanna click the next episode because you wanna know what happened even youve read the manga before, not because you were forced to cos you cant do about it. and you got a point there they exactly put how the manga was but there was a big mistake! theres no imagination! theres no fans point of view!
