Once the series is all said and done and we fans look back at it as a whole, will the Naruto series at least get the chance to leave its mark as one of the greatest manga of all time? Cause I believe so.

Never said that, I like and appreciate Naruto but I don't think it compares to other manga that were written better in my opinion.

slow down there dude, this forums has sections about other manga's/anime's. also naruto doesn't have to be YOUR ALL TIME favorite (or for you to think it's the best) to be here.

well it's all a matter of opinion (personal taste) and i like this series of course. but am trying to give an unbiased look at the quality of the writing in here ..... and kishi is amazing (would dare say this is close to a masterpiece in it's genre specially when you look at the relatable characters). yet when you talk about the quality of the writing and the creativity of the writer ..... you will find some unbelievably written manga/anime with plots and twist beyond this series. don't get me wrong this series is good but it's simple, a story about a naive hero (with a mess of a power scale) who wants to save everyone. the series is huge (popular) coz its mostly not entirely directed at the younger viewers (witch are A LOT) its just popular, but judging by the quality alone .... well its great but NOT the best and MAYBE could be one of the best (if it wasn't for the mistakes, witch is not a good thing in a simple series)

I´ll certainly remember Naruto after it´s long done with. It could have certain things done different but you can´t please everyone...
