One of my biggest disappointments with this arc.

The fact that Madara and Sasuke never really conversed.

-The most renowned Uchiha and the last Uchiha.

-The only two Uchiha to ever awaken the EMS and Rinnegan

-Both are transmigrants of Indra and Madara had no idea yet. Imagine what his reaction would have been like?

-Hashirama said Sasuke was the only one who could reason with Madara because he was so much like Izuna.





It was all set up and teased, yet we never got to see it happen. God damn it Kishi.

I always wonder why Kishi never gone a little deeper into it. The conversation between Sasuke and Madara would have much more meaningful than what has recently happened. The team fight was the perfect opportunity for this to happen. He could have just saved the Kaguya shit later, or better yet not bringing her up at all.

Honestly, the fight would be better that way.

There is a slight possibility that Madara used Izanagi again to fake his death. In the recent chapter [as many have stated] there is a panel where one of Madara's sharingan eyes appears to be going out in a similar way that has been shown with Izanagi. Now while I can't imagine what more Kishi could have Madara do to justify him being resurrected again, if it did happen it would open up a lot of possibilities as far as loose ends being tied.

-The Sage's tools finally being used when Madara spat them out, foreshadowing someone's defeat with them
-The interaction between Madara and Sasuke as foreshadowed by Hashirama when he mentioned Sasuke's resemblance to Izuna
-Hashirama claiming Sasuke might be able to stop Madara without force [the two never had interaction for Sasuke to attempt such feat]
-Sasuke using whatever powers Hashirama appeared to have transferred to him [theres a chance though that it was just chakra]

I was being really optimistic for the longest time.

But I think after a certain level of disappointment I realized Kishi won't do any of that.

how did madara even know they were the last uchiha? hes been dead the whole time. madara didnt seem to care at all about them. sasuke didnt care at all about obito either. must be an indra thing...

This arc got lame when naruto entered. I think it was too soon. Not enough people died. I wanted him to be devastated when he entered the battle field. The war would have been more interesting and more Edo would have had time to shine.

This is just poor writing skills..never seen anything like this before..there are other disappointments too which can be easily attributed to poor writing skills...three years of following this manga has gone down the drain..but thats how it is sometimes..

i agree, sasuke has always indirectly been compared to madara in the past, both indras reincarnation, like you said both awakened the same eyes, both lost their brother. it would have been proper for them to have some conversation because they are quite similar

Izanagi can't stop the effects of a bijuu extraction.
