This right here. A shinobi of Tobirama's caliber and hype should have easily toyed with a mere 20 shinobi of less than Kage level. Even with minor difficulty, he should have easily been able to survive long enough for his squad to reach safety, and later flee himself. U_U

The only reasonable explanation is that the previous assassination attempt left him severely crippled in an unnoticeable way.

First off that was The elite Kinkaku force emphasis on elite. Together they nearly killed tobirama and the 2nd raikage so separately one may have been able to beat tobirama. Armed with sage tools and v2 kyuubi transformation tobirama would lose every time. You forget tobirama's use of ftg isn't like minato's where he blitzed many groups of shinobi during the 3rd war. Tobirama's ftg use is once at a time that why he admitted to minato's ftg efficiency to be better than his. 20 elite shinobi all jonin and jonin doesn't mean you're skill level because you can be beyond the average jonin level much like part 1 kakashi and gai.

War ark kakashi could pull it off imho.

He warped kunai, rasengan a whole clone and was going for mazou head besides other skills he wasted chakra on.

I think combined volume of what he warped surpasses that of 20 heads.

I know that...my post was to counter another post so I used the ambush to make a comparison.


Also your post was correct for the most part however you say they lied about beating tobirama well they didn't lie because they actually won. You think because tobirama survived that signifies he kicked their ass and made them flee but they weren't only fighting tobirama and the raikage plus cloud shinobi that were in konoha with the raikage and konoha shinobi. The brothers did what they came to do which was kick tobirama and the raikage ass.
