Ok so Orochimaru isnt one of those villains that go around attacking villages and killing people for fun. Everything he did was bad but not in his mind. He does what is in his best interest. Right now attacking Sasuke and trying to get his body would be the worst idea as he said he doesnt have the power yet. But once he gets back on track he will be right back to the Oro we know and love.
