on and off, the rinnengan

I have been wondering. Madara has activated his rinnengan during his with the 5 lazy(and weak) kages, then he showed up where obito and kakashi and co. were having fun with d rinnengan deactivated. So can he on and off d rinnengan at will. And if yes that means at his ems mode he cant use rinnenjutsu and vice versa :-/

if he has EMS on of course he cnt use rinn techs. just like 3t sharingun cant use ms techs. nagato cdnt change it arnd because its not his eyes and he probably ddnt knw abt the sharingun being the rinn. And yes he can switch

Well , he made danzo look like a ****** his death was like "thats cheating" he also made pain died like "wtf did he forget about his abilities?" he made jiraiya died like an ant. He made madara like "hey after guko and ichigo and d 3rd strongest" he made 3rdhokage died like "hey old man even with 1st and 2nd hokage chakra in u, u cnt just use that jutsu" he made orochi to die 1st in hand of sasuke who did cheats to kill danzo.
