Two kumo ninja are conversing while guarding the front gate to the village
Kumo Nin#1: This is boring
Kumo Nin#2: Meh...we get paid thats all I care about. I just wish it wasnt raining so hard tonight.
Kumo Nin#1: Soooo...wanna hear a joke?
Kumo Nin#2: No I think we should pay more attention to--
Kumo Nin#1: (Cuts off) A vampire bat came flapping in from the night covered in fresh blood and parked himself on the roof of the cave to get some sleep.
Pretty soon all the other bats smelt the blood and began hassling him about where he got it.
He told them to go way ! And let him get some sleep, but they persisted until he finally gave in.
"OK, follow me," he said and flew out of the cave with hundreds of bats behind him.
Down through a valley they went, across a river and into a forest of trees.
Finally he slowed down and all the other bats excitedly milled around him.
"Now, do you see that tree over there?" he asked.
"Yes, Yes, Yes!" the bats all screamed in a frenzy.
"Good!" said the first bat, "Because I sure as hell didn't!" (starts cracking up and smacking his knee) (teary) Get it?
Kumo Nin#2: Yeah,uh...hey look a lost child!
The two ninja run over to Tetsu and help him inside of the walls and into their house where he is sat down in a chair and given soup and a blanket.
Kumo Nin#1: Are you allright? Why were you out there alone?
Tetsu: Im fine thanks. I came here because I've no home anymore.
One of the ninjas notice the uchiha crest on his back
Kumo Nin#2: An uchiha? Your far from home arent you.
Tetsu: No,I came from that mountain with my mom over there in the horizon.
Kumo Nin#2: An uchiha in the land of iron. What're you doing living around here?
Tetsu: Well when my dad became an ANBU he didnt have enough time to take care of a child so he sent me to live with my mom who lived here. (eats a spoon of soup)
Kumo Nin#1: But what happened to your moms? Why did you run away from home?
Tetsu:Well some people came into our house and I was told to run here and never come back by my mom. I dont know what became of her afterward. (thinking) I hope she's okay.
Kumo Nin#2: Well this can be your new home now. Stay as long as you like,we have an extra room anyway since our son moved out.
Tetsu: Thank you really. By the way are you two like husband and wife?
Kumo Nin#1:Yeah Im the husband my name is Teishu and this is my wife Okami.
Okami: Hope you like it here.
Tetsu: Nice to meet you Teishu and Okami well im sleepy so can one of you lead me to my room?
Teishu: Oh of course.
Tetsu is taken to his new room where he sleeps and dreams of his mother.
