I think its safe to assume that the Ramen guy is the same height as Tobi, so by your logic Ramen guy=Tobi.

I dont get why people are so obsessed with the idea that Obito is Tobi. Obito's character was boring, and only served the purpose of giving insight into Kakashi's character (his sharingan, why he is always late, etc). Tobi is too important of a character to be Obito, his backstory just about ends right at Obito's "death". Height/voice are not logical explanations (look at early tobi and current tobi), and Obito's character was greatly different than early Tobi. Early Tobi was all around a goof. Obito was clumsy. There is a difference.

people just counter the argument with "obito wouldnt be that tall, he's too young"

Tobi threads kept giving me ideas so heres a really good one ok what if tobi is more then one person???the key here is his mask why even wear one i know shocking right but let me break it down really quick so itachi saw tobi but with longer hair right? he really looked like madara here so why couldnt that be madara?

the whole time madara was trying to gain the rinnegan he was teaching obito to be a badass ninja like himself which is why he even took his name obito must be trying to repay madara for saving his life by finishing his plans another notable feature is when tobi was 1st introduced he was a clown you can say obito was also a funny character thats a trait they share but my number one reason for believing what i stated is here

boom you guys seeing the picture now? kakashi cant kaumi tobi because he has obitos eye the same eye tobi has which is why tobi can warp dimensions but kakashi can send others to that same dimension tobi has to be with that person to warp them the two techniques even look similar the reason is because they act as a pair the power of obitos sharingan is space time manipulation one sends opponents to another dimension while the other warps the user to another dimension the current tobi is none other than obito which is why he is talking to kakashi that way in todays current chapter so point is tobi was 1st madara then he found obito implanted zetsus cells to keep him alive trained him and then on his deathbed told obito to bring peace by completing the moons eye plan and continuing his legacy thats why we notice the hair changing now my theory has one flaw thats when minato fought tobi how could obito get so much stronger in that period of time? well if im correct madara trained him harshly so he could fight on par with minato obito then discovered his own mangekyou sharingan technique and thought his space time manipulation was better than ftg so he thought he would win but battle experience is what decided that fight so yeah my theory is that tobi is 1st madara aka long haired tobi then madara died and they switched when the nine tails attacked aka short haired or current tobi i know this is alot of words but i had too share my thoughts lol what do you guys think? this would also explain how tobi has been around 4 so long and also who in this entire manga ever got a haircut? lol its obvious tobi is madara then obito

Alright, now. I know since the latest chapter their's been a lot of these, I've even been on the opposing side of it from time to time, but someone else's theory gave me an idea.

When we say, "Obito = Tobi" we immediately assume some ones speaking about Obito becoming Tobi after the events seen in Kakashi Gaiden. However, we all know that Tobi has a wide collection of Sharingan and a few were scattered into non-Uchiha (Kakashi and Danzo). What if "Obito" was actually an act that's point was to en-plant a Sharingan in the son of the "White-Fang" of the Leaf Village's son?

We've seen time and again that Tobi has an incredible amount of Intel about Konoha, but his Intel has never been shown to extend into other villages. Convenient? Well, I'm not done.

You must know your enemy. What if Tobi can see through Kakashi's eye? Since Kakashi's mentor was the Fourth Hokage and he was quite the little prodigy, this would explain how Tobi discovered the barrier that surrounded Konoha and was able to sneak in on the day of Naruto's birth.

Using his Zetsu like body and a transformation jutsu, he could easily have turned into Kakashi's childhood friend. He couldn't just shove his eye into Kakashi's he needed to act it out. Make Kakashi accept the eye as if it was his friends dying gift. Also, this was during war time, why wouldn't Tobi find a way to infiltrate and find out Konoha's war tactics? Make sense to me.

I'm saying, maybe Tobi wasn't crafted by throwing around the letters of, "Obito" around. What if the name "Obito" was created by throwing the letters of "Tobi" around.

What this answers:
-Age difference between Obito and Tobi
-Motivation to attack Konoha
-Tobi's Intel
-The similarities between Tobi's Mangekyo abilities and Kakasi's

But what was said to Kakashi? That's fairly spot on. He's always visiting Obito's grave even years after. Also doing it very frequently. I mean I visit my dead friends and family's graves, but I don't lose track of time or do it to that level. Nor am I comparing real life to an anime, but this shows clearly in my eyes that he hasn't gotten over Obito's death.
