This doesn't prove anything, Kagami isn't exactly known, there would be no impact if Tobi ended up being a completely new character we never heard of.

This is exactly why I went out of my way in my theory to make a link which would make him more likely to have an impact. By himself it doesn't really make him relevant

i also think it could be tobi, and maybe, just maybe he survived with the help of orochimaru or maybe a zetzu, and the reason why tobi/obito have so much intel on kakashi is because of the sharingan. similar like the rinnegan it links the sharingan user's but not as advance as rinnegan( if one pair is split into two biengs the original owner of the eyes will be able to everything the beholder of the other eye sees
