Actually, the fact that Obito has a good heart, was good to begin with or some such bull, will cause him to fall prey to one of the main causes of death among villains:

Repentant Villain Syndrome (or RVS for short)

Dude will realize the error in his ways, and sacrifice his life in order to further to redeem himself, conveniently furthering the manga's plot in the process as well giving some closure to his story arc, and as plus, he removes himself from plot, in the process causing Kakashi to go all emo and providing an opportunity for lame recolllection chapters.

Yup. RVS is highly fatal and contagious. It may actually get to the point where even Madara contracts the disease. Watch out.
