I say this is major plot hole or he didn't want to kill Naruto. Lol

Hm, yea good point. I forgot that he regenerates fast. But, still stabbing somewhere more fatal should have been done in my opinion.

he'll regenerate his heart or his face. I know it sounds ridiculous but he can. In the first battle with sasuke, Naruto got stabbed in the chest by a chidori and he healed back up.
