I've got mixed feelings. It all seems awesome and the premise is interesting, though on the other hand an erupting volcano? The only thing that would have been even more prehistoric, would be a meteorite impact. I'm also curious as who will fulfill the roles of "baddies" as they need to watch out that this isn't just some rehash of JP II.

It's good though that the socio-political situation surrounding the story gets some attention, it makes it more realistic and relatable. I mean it's an interesting thought whether artificially created species should be treated in a similar manner like biological ones.
