If the manga was dying like you say it is then why is bleach not in the top 10 manga sales anymore?

It's more than just an appearance since Kudo stated in a interview that Aizen still has a role to play Lol.
That or Aizen has trolled everyone even further(he looked to be awfully calm and happy while being imprisoned), but who knows Kudo has been throwing a lot of curve balls recently, so it's hard to predict what will actually happen.

I wonder what mixture of digested bilge he will concoct this role out of. Honestly, Bleach makes less and less sense, he will likely be training Ichigo and everyone will forgive him, like how Ishida just seemed to forget that Mayuri tortured his beloved grandfather to death and gave up trying to get revenge

Bleachs declines is due to its loss of structure, change in tack and back and forth storytelling I don't think anyone can argue that Bleach was 'once' great but thats the point, its not anymore and that is down to Kubo losing all sense of logic
I agree, perhaps it was the anime getting cancelled that made him feel like he had to do something drastic but he took totally the wrong path now he is losing more readers than ever but he isn't backtracking or trying to fix it, just digging deeper holes
