He has a knack for winning fights with no prior intel or prep time.

Chiyo and sakura only did so well due to chiyos intel and sakura having an antidote prepped

Naruto and Kakashi would've easily won IMO. Naruto just has to use Tajū Kage Bunshin no Jutsu to take on Sasori's puppet army while Kakashi goes in for the kill with either Raikiri or Kamui (or one of his other thousand techniques.) No contest if you ask me.
