No really ... I have some trees by bedroom window they stay there and actually eats bugs and vermin who otherwise would have bothered me, and they actually get in when being chased by day time birds and most of the times they are scared babies who otherwise would have been ripped apart. So I let them fly around or capture them and keep them in box till its dark and safe and let them go.

I once even had a guest female White Owl .... I kept him till was dark but the bastard shat on my bed and bit one of the neighbors when she came to see her.

PS I think you are mislead by all those Vampire and mainstream stuff ... Most domestic bat species are mostly harmless (But becareful abt their poo, they are poisonous sometimes) and no less friendlier than the average scared stray cat .... In fact the lil one's can be positively cute.
